I hope u have studied a bit of history of india that states weren't politically divided before independence and hence traditions such as food and folk songs can't be restricted to a particular present day state if it is followed in more than one state.

im from Bangladesh and this is my comfort food because when there’s barely anything at the fridge I mix rice with water leave it for a few hours for fermentation and then fry a Omelette and mix with salt and add a onion Also tired of these comments saying “ so your from odisha” mate just becuase your eating something from that place doesn’t mean you come from there, everyone can eat any food from any place
Not to sound critical, but the traditional way to enjoy pakhala bhata is by taking a handful of rice, then eating the side dishes while the rice is still in your mouth, and then chewing it. As an Odia, I recommend this method. Please avoid mixing everything in water next time ; if you want to mix, do it with dry rice, not with water soaked rice.
Khanna Bhat yummy hai but is tarah nehi khate pakhal ko tumne toh usko pata nehi kya bana diya 😂 this is not the proper way of eating this tasty food only people of odisha can eat this properly
