This movie is not for everyone, especially if you are referring to Reels and Tik tok public. This movie is for those people, those who grew up without smartphones. 90' s for whome Love is still spell as Love which means Sacrifice, unconditional. Not like today's LUV, everything shortcuts, even the spelling.
But story tou hoti,there were movies without smart phones and technology times,like 80s movies,don't they have story?There were amazing and till now remembered.
2004 me hi already Veer Zaara film aa gayi thi. With the same concept, aur wo film bhi zyada achi to nahi thi, but shayad ek baar dekhi jaa sakti thi. Especially for its music and the lead pair. Ab 2024 me wo same story dekhne ka kya matlab. Maine ye film nahi dekhi, but i assume wahi story hai. Hero going to jail for heroine's honor, ghisa pita formula?
Also, two other films, both in the 90s with the same concept, Meera ka Mohan and Karobaar with similar stories. U said 90s wali public ke liye. I am one such guy but even I don't feel interested in watching this movie.

I have seen the movie today and absolutely loved it.Amazing performance by Shantanu and after that Tabu and Ajay,they both acted well as usual.Jimmy shergill o my God waisa hi fit and good looking jaisa 20 years pahle tha.I was born in 80's so might be possible I loved it.Jitne bad reviews hain waisi to nahi hai atleast.
Please give Jimmy Shergill more screen time, he is just amazing.

Actually the films is superb and amazing. This film is not made for some people like you. You are not worthy to watch this masterpiece. It's not about story and suspense, it about love and faith in each other. Loving someone doesn't mean you will get everything you want. The music is the best thing and fits completely to the scene. Surely rate it 3/5 no doubt about it.
