Ok- 5 years late, but dude is insane! I am actually looking at an old acrosonic and this guy sold me! Kris if you see this, you are amazing and thanks for your gifts - inspiring!
What a pianist and entertainer!! Thoroughly enjoyed your playing, your enthusiasm and love for music and your instrument. So inspiring. Love watching you play. Amazing!!
Wow, awesome, love how you play. I am so fortunate to have this exact piano I found at an estate sale, believe it or not for only $30, I have been wanting one for a long time. So happy the piano I found is a good one!! Thanks for the review.
I just learned what I have. :). It's a 1954 Acrosonic. The keyboard is beautiful! I'm selling, no one plays it anymore. I was really surprised to learn the history and quality, and yes, it does sound awesome! Esp yours!!
zymbo hi my friend thank you for watching my videos the first song that I play was called the old piano roll blues. Yes it's a for ragtime thank you and please subscribe
Somewhere over the rainbow was beautiful 😭!!!! I used to play as a kid and have started to look into getting a piano. So many ppl just giving away their pianos .... at any rate, any chance you can share where I might be able to find the music sheets for that version you played? Thanks for doing this review and passing on your knowledge.
Hi Mr Nicholson. I have a question. We had a piano tuning a week ago, and the person who did tuning, he was not able to instal back the top from the piano. He tuned piano very well, but had a hard time to instal top part back. We have a acrosonic piano Baldwin , exactly the same like on your video. Can you please send us a picture of side part. So we can see how to install it back . Thanks .
DUUUUDE! As soon as you started playing I thought of the outro theme from All in the Family! lol. You are a bad dude on that thing and that old piano has found a good home.
Thank you , thank you Mr. Nicholson. Loved your video. I came across an Acrosonic yesterday at an estate sale. I fell in love with it , mohogany & great shape. Played it for a little but will not sure about it. I have right now an Essex 2005 but an very tempted to get this Acrosonic. Years ago I had a spinet that I learned to play on and loved that piano. Sorry I donated it. Give me your thoughts. Thanks
thank you for uplifting me! . . i have a 1967 baldwin acrosonic! . . did you ever do the felts (all that forte-forte!) . . and hammer-work info? . . do you have a name-business for me! . . thanks again for the dynamics!
Much prefer this to the 1990, and now I know that if I have a problem with mine, the problem is me, not the piano (okay, there are a couple of sticky keys, but otherwise no). It reminds me of my '88 Volvo wagon. It ain't fancy, or pretty, but it's real good, and it will survive the apocalypse. The '90 sounds deadened somehow, kind of flat and muffled. I like the brightness here.
Wow!! Piano is nice ( are spinets in general this nice sounding or perhaps Baldwin Acrosonic only?) I have watched a couple of youtube presentations about spinets and they are changing/improving my attitude toward spinets), but that playing!!
You are awesome player but you sure made the arthritis in my left wrist hurt when you kept going through that last octave without moving your body in the chromatic scale at the beginning. ;-) You related to stretch armstrong by any chance?
So I take it you are not against Spinets? Different feel than an upright? I'm asking because I was thinking of getting one but just saw a video where they a lot are very cheaply made and feel a lot different in the action. Wonderful playing!
Keep doing research, you will find that the Acrosonic is one of the most highly regarded spinets and has a real following, especially these midcentury ones which have a wonderful tone. These had very good quality materials and construction and were built to last. The fact that a piano player like Kris can play the hell out of it and keep loving the sound speaks volumes to me.
Hello Kris, i wanted to ask you, if this is the same as an Acrosonic 1961. I'm going to buy one, and in the pictures they are the same as yours. I don't know if there is a difference for the year. And another thing, the keys are kind of dry. How can i fix them? The price around 900 dls. is it worth it? The machine and mechanic is really in a great shape. Like new! Just this details about the keys, and to know if there is a difference in the years. But it does, the sound it is great!

What a great pianist,….man! So glad we got one of them….keep the fingers rolling,…amazing playing! Bravo!
Had one of these in the living room as a kid and I miss the sound so much!!!
Wow, awesome, love how you play. I am so fortunate to have this exact piano I found at an estate sale, believe it or not for only $30, I have been wanting one for a long time. So happy the piano I found is a good one!! Thanks for the review.
My Acrosonic is a 1978 walnut 951. Its action is different than the one on yours. Thanks for helping me learn about this stuff. You sound great.
Wow!!! This is the most mesmerizing piano demonstration!!! You are amazing my man!
You're God sent. Thank and praise Almighty God. Really, a total entertainer. God bless you and thank you for sharing your talent. Amen.

Have you been playing piano since the age of 5? Wow so much talent. I bet you can make any piano sound great.
All I can say is wow, I have that same piano and had no idea it played like this.
Omg I want one ! its sounds so good for ragtime and boogie ! Amazing playing
I'm a hard rock kind of guy and I thought your playing and the piano sounded great. I, especially, liked that first song you played. Well done, Sir.
Man you shred that piano. I love your playing style. What's the name of the very first song you play? It sounds like ragtime or carny music.

Acrosonics have a different & better action than other spinets. They also have a good soundboard.
Wow that's a sound like a grand

Wow bro
are you selling it?
How much would a 1938. Spinet acrosonic. In decent cosmetically condition go for?
DAU1 Scoobeez check eBay maybe they might have a good estimation for you.
Whoever says that spinets are inferior pianos have very limited knowledge of piano maintenance
I believe the only spinet anyone recommends today is the Acrosonyc
You can play piano!!!
Git it!
Hey Kris I got a 1957 Acrosonic coming my way THIS WEEK. Your video helped seal the deal for me. Really excited! Thank you.
Dude.............
