The spring loaded center punches also work well to remove tempered glass. I have one with a pen and a tire pressure gauge clipped to my sunviser in case I end up in water and need to break a window.
Put in about a 1/4 mile of 2" copper for a fire suppression system in a heat treat plant once but it wasn't the soft copper rolls. Those twist handle wrenches are factory made and come in all different sizes, they go back to at least the 1880s.......I always say I think I center punched and drilled a million holes when I was in the steel business but that's probably an exaggeration but 1/4 million probably isn't.......I like the little automatic punch for wood.
Those are called screw finders and they still come in some bit/driver kits.
Always wondered why it’s called a screw finder it should be called a screw don’t loser or don’t dropper
