Depends. Gelatin powder used to make marshmallows can contain skin, bones, cartilage taken from various animals and fish. If we make marshmallows at home using Agar Agar powder (which is made from sea weed and algae) then it is better. But han it takes a lot of effort and patience to make marshmallows from scratch!
