I think the best way to use coins is to just upgrade one brawler at a time to lvl 11 with only 1 star power and 1 gadet
And look at the meta/ tier list for brawlers to upgrade first
Don't buy the gears if they don't affect the brawler much
Facts! Or just upgrade specific brawlers you’re good at using 😎
I always power up everything to power 7 because it's cheap and can get gadgets from starr drops. I'd be good if everything is power 9 but I barely have maxed brawlers (I mean I only have fully maxed Spike with hypercharge, Leon without hypercharge, Crow on power 10 with fully maxed and El Primo on power 10 without 1 gear :D )
no. you upgrade your brawlers to 6. save your credits. get all your brawlers to 500 trophies. you will unlock too many brawlers to get more than a few power 11 characters. it costs a lot of $ to do that. and ruins your starr drops.
above power 6 you will get star drops for gears and stuff, make them accurate. power your favorite characters up to 7-9. be conservative with your points, keep an excess of gold.

In concluaion:just play the game and the game will reward you.First,focus on upgrading your favorite brawler to the MAX.After this move,upgrade a second one that you enjoy.Upgrade one by one and don't spread your coins in more browlers at once.Stop upgrading in case you don't enjoy that browler and go the next.Have fun

Currently I'm waiting for the hypercharges because I didn't buy any of them because I just came back not long time ago. Also I want to get Sandy and max him out (I'm at 1755/3800 credits and could pick Cordelius, Meg, Chester but feels like Sandy is better for ranked) and also want to max out Gene because ranked and Bibi just because got her hypercharge and she can be good. I also grinding masteries and brawlers under 500 trophies because they'll give an additional 2000 trophies to my 36700 trophies and I maybe hit 40000 trophies and get 350 more credits. Currently I have 5000 power points and 11000 coins, they are still like nothing :D

You need to save as many credits as possible. If you’re a free to play player make sure to complete the brawl pass, participate in brawl stars events, and claim your daily rewards in the shop!

when trying to get mastery, purposely stay under rank 10 by losing to get easier matches... idk, is that a viable strategy?
It can work! But if you’re in a lower rank, you’re gonna end up getting less mastery points so it will take longer to master your brawlers. On the other hand, if you’re a higher rank, you’ll get even more mastery points. The only problem with being in a higher rank is that there are too many sweats 😭

I think the only problem with progression I see is the fallback rewards
Why is it that if I already have a star power and I get it from drop it gets converted to 1000 coins instead of 2000 coins
Or better yet just make it so that you can't get the things you already have unlocked so there is no fallback reward
Either the fallback rewards become a 1:1 conversion
Or there is no fallback and you just get what you don't have
