A group of teenagers discover that their club is scheduled for demolition to make way for a skyscraper. The niece of the club's adversary falls in with the group determined to save the club.
Rob is the man. Another gem.
Thank you!
Great nostalgia
Glad you liked it!
Gene McDaniels may have been the most underrated singer of the 60's.
So true!
Look up the film "It's Trad Dad" aka "Ring-A-Ding Rhythm". In it Gene sings "Another Tear Falls", Easily the best song performance ever in a film in my opinion. Or you can pull the clip up on youtube. Yes indeed Mr McDaniels was hugely underrated.
To bad that Chubby Checker did not sing: "Lets Twist again"; lol! That music sure did not fit.
Perfunctory shut-down-the-kids'-nightclub plot, which doesn't even have the chutzpah to be amusingly melodramatic, is at least occasionally relieved by some mildly entertaining musical numbers of various early 60s genres (and some teuly dreadful comedy). "Young Swingers"? "Young Snoozers" is more like it! Mild spoiler question: doesn't the electrical fire near the end kind of prove the bad guys' point? 3/10.
First time I've seen a Fender Telecaster used in Jazz
I have been looking for this movie for over a year. I can't tell you how relieved I am to finally watch it. I'm subscribing to your channel to thank you!
Thanks for the sub!
The song "Mad, Mad, Mad" is swingin'
Thank you for the upload Rob! I love all classics and finding new things I haven't seen. I always go to your channel now that I found it. I'm 47 and didn't grow up in the era but grew up watching everything with my Grandmother. Good memories❤
Glad you like them!
Kinda cheesy, but I liked it. Thanks! (and a Black guy as a feature character in 1963?! - pretty progressive for its day)
Too square for the squares or too hip for the hipsters?
"Two things can be equally true."
Hoping Gene would sing “ A Hundred Pounds of Clay “. Better song than any of the Beatles Drek !
As a young child in the early '60's, I remembered listening to Molly Bee!
Cony movie but still better than “ A Hard Days Night “ and “ Help “, zzzzzzzzzz
Every time "Pete" launches into another impersonation, I can feel the cold, steel sickle of death drawing nearer. Good to see Ray Dannis, however.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Rob, Knocked it out of the ballpark Again😊
Glad you liked it!
Your plot outline is very similar to the Cliff Richard movie The Young Ones,1962.

Reminds me alot of another movie "Hootnanny A Gogo". That one, has a young Joan Rivers in it.
👍 Absolutely Perfect.

No worries thanks mate
This movie was bad😂
Incredible that this drivel was being put out while the Beatles were already on the move. I see why the Beatles were so welcomed when this was the norm at the time?
Not everything revolved around the Beatles. This movie is meant to be corny. Try and chill.
No it didn’t revolve around the Beatles because this was the norm at the time. Once the Beatles exploded, it left this subpar music in the dust. I’m fully relaxed and simply stating facts. I’m sorry that I upset your view of the music world via 1963?
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin others of that vein sold more records in the 60’s than rock artists.
I’m a fan of them both plus punk, progressive and the folk, lite jazz portrayed in this film.
The Beatles destroyed good music with their crap that actually segregated the music as R&B fans chose black radio. Many whites like me did too. That bland no soul drivel put out in British Invasion. When the broke up , I celebrated. Without media hype, they never would have lasted. Monotone, no octave singing. You forget country music rose in popularity as the Beatles arrived. If the Temptations were white, they’d be bigger than the Beatles !

Yes like the Beatles covering Buck Owens Act Naturally and Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins among others. The Beatles wrote the first hit for The Rolling Stones “I wanna be your man”. Otis Redding recorded several Beatles covers including Day Tripper and Hard Days Night. Multitudes of artists from many genres recorded Beatles music. The Beatles segregated and destroyed good music? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
