Mihoyo really likes to make a character or an NPC to either have a parent to go away for important reasons or "go really far away in a distant land to have a nice vacation."
Hmm, lets see how many Mihoyo characters I can name with absent/dead parents, I'm only putting those with confirmed missing parents or those who can reasonably be suspected to have missing parents. Present adoptive parents do not exempt people from the list.
Genshin Characters:
Jean: Divorced Parents, Father is on expedition
Barbara: Same as Jean I think
Diluc: Dead father, mother is unknown but presumed dead
Klee: Mother is on expedition, Father is unknown/missing
Razor: was an orphan
Albedo: I think hes created artificially, so Imma say his creator is like his parent, either way I think they're on expedition
Amber: Parents are missing
Ninngguang: was an orphan
Bennet: was an orphan
Rosaria: was an orphan
Qiqi: Parents are dead
Diona: Father is present but mother is unknown/missing
Kaeya: Father abandoned him, Mother is missing, possibly dead
Travelers: I'm 10 percent sure they were created by someone and I'm 100 percent sure that someone is dead (I may be wrong so feel free to ignore this one)
Honkai Characters:
Kiana: Mother is dead, Father is missing
Mei: Mother is dead, Father is in prison
Bronya: Both parents are dead
Fu hua: Both parents are dead (though given that she's 50000 years old I'd be surprised if they weren't)
Himeko: Both parents are dead
Raven: Both parents are dead
Sirin: Both parents are dead
Seele: Both parents are dead
Olenyeva twins: same as above
Theresa: is a clone but her creator, Otto Apocalypse, adopted her. Fortunately he is currently missing (Thanks Fu hua for taking out that scumbag!)

Bronie: was an orphan
Kallen: Father is dead, mother was unknown (probably dead at this point)
Alright given that I named the majority of major characters from both Genshin and Honkai, yeah there is a real issue of missing or dead parents.

@@dionan1fan no she has been busy for quite a while now and I'm wondering why, so I thought what if she was the Pyro archon then it would make sense why she can't meet Klee right now coz if she does meet Klee. She might put Klee in danger since she's an archon and archon's gnosis are being hunted by the harbingers. It also make sense why Alice just travels around the world but this just a theory of mine so yeh...

Alice is likely the voice in the 1.6. Trailer. Alice was pretending to be an evil dodoking so Klee to play a game. It’s like when a parent pretends to be a monster to scare their kids.
Klee got a ‘terrible terrible letter’ and she needs to fight the dodoking. Because Dodoco will be taken away if she loses. She likely has to do the games to win.
Only Alice can create such Klee themed games. She probably has the same style as Klee since...Klee learned from Alice.
So the first event is Klee going to an island where her mother set up fun games for her.
In other words: Alice can’t be with Klee right now, so she set up an island filled with games so Klee could play with her despite the long distance. She got Klee to go by pretending to be an evil Dodoking (something that Alice taught Klee)

I also thought about that since almost nobody has ever gone to the island nor heard of it (except Venti, Dvalin and others) since its way too hard to get there. And Alice is the only person I could think of who has been to many places and make this kind of challenge for Klee.
I akso thought about Alice doing the games and so did about Mona's teacher, for different reasons ("Wicked girl of flame?" Who will call their children like that?). But still, the islands seem to gave their own lore and it seems the mysterious recorder will activate Maguu Kenki. Will Alice be as extreme as to activate a killing machine to "play" with her daughter?

🌸❤️I look forward to the day Alice is introduced into Genshin Impact as a playable character and we are yielded her quest. She continues for me to be one of the more fascinating tales untold (I have not read the manga) thus far❤️🌸
