Thanks for the video. Can I enroll in a zero cost Part D plan, but not use it to get my meds? For example, if my medication is cheaper from GoodRx, can I use them instead of my Part D plan?

Good video. I enrolled in a very low cost drug plan. The one downside is they are constantly calling and leaving voice mails as the try to get me to sign up for their Advantage Plan.

The title of this video is misleading (to me). Saying the "TRUTH" in all caps typically implies there is a hidden gotcha this video will reveal and help you avoid. Instead, the video actually points out no difference or gotcha with a FREE drug plan -- other than the fact the premium is zero. With every plan, including a zero premium ones, the key is entering ALL your current medications so you can get a total cost comparison (premium PLUS estimated annual drug costs).

But that is the truth? The truth is, if your prescriptions are included on the plan's formulary, a $0 premium plan is a great option! The truth is just because something is lower cost doesn't mean it is lower quality (despite what many people think!) Thanks for your feedback!

@iHealthBrokers - I asked my co-workers to critique my online presentation many years ago and the one thing they said was to stop moving the mouse around and around in circles to demonstrate a point!

Really? Very interesting. That's very helpful, constructive feedback. I'm curious... what is the reasoning? Is it distracting or is there something deeper? I' just genuinely curious!
