I got accepted into UofA and im going to be an incoming freshman. So class of '25. Im really just trying to contact and reach out to people before I start so i know people :)

I am applying to UofA and it is my first choice. I’ve been reassured that I’ll get in and hearing that there’s a big sense of team spirit and the campus is big really attracted me. I really hope I can get in!

I am freshman at the UA online , I studied whole 2 semester online in front of the notebook🤦🏻♂️. Lessons gonna end on May 4th. I recommend that your choice is the best one if you want UArizona!

All depends on what you like, asu like city life and some classes are too far away, u travel a lot. Uofa is better

My brother and his gf went to asu, uofa I always liked. I think it’s a lot better
go to asu Tempe if you like the urban setting and busy town vibes. It basically feels like a mini Phoenix but it’s so fun. There’s a lot to do at night. However Tucson has such a beautiful campus all around and has a really good Greek life. Both are very good options , it just comes down to your interests.

Avoid high price colleges. Actually be a leader and look for beneficial colleges, not ones just looking to put you in debt for a couple decades!

Cool AP Guys a lot of ppl go back home but i stayed and subleased an apartment with my friends which was super fun! most of what i brought with me from nj was clothes/shoes and everything else (dorm stuff, etc) i bought in arizona or had shipped there

i don’t live in the dorms anymore but i loved my time living in them last year!

Reputation as a party school
Under 21, greek life mandatory [to get alcohol underage]. Bars are strict on being 21. (yeah these kids list not being able to easily commit crimes as a school con. 8:03 attempts to forge government documents will be taken away at bars)
As a rising senior what can I do to improve my chances of getting into UofA? I have a 3.2 gpa with 8 ap classes/3 dual enrolled classes, 4+ years of community service and a 1450 sat.
Jackson Fin i’m not an admissions officer or anything but your stats seem solid for uofa! it’s like an 70-80% acceptance rate
You’ll get in. Trust me. I know people who got in with a 2.0. Make sure you apply now tho
You basically are automatically accepted with those grades . You will receive scholarships too
Your chances are already very high to get in. I’d say you have over a 90 percent chance

I am a parent of an incoming freshman who is considering U of A. My questions pertain to Out of State Students. We are from NY and I see you are from NJ. Do you feel any East Coast connections at U of A. Is there much geographic diversity? How do you find the travel? It's far.... direct flights to Tucson don't seem to exist. Do you take 2 flights or take a bus/transportation- like a Flix bus from Phoenix?

Hi! I currently study at the U of A and I am happy to answer your questions. There is a shuttle system that takes you to the Phoenix airport for somewhere between $50-90 if you are looking for a direct flight (the service is called "Groome transportation). I would highly recommend flying directly instead of taking a connection. I fly to Florida/Chicago frequently during the semester and I have had a pretty bad experience with my connecting flights. I have some friends that are from NY and Maryland and they have mixed feelings about the university because it is such a big transition from the city.
Do they allow you to go into bars under 21 if they can put the x on your hand and you don’t drink inside?

sororities and fraternities, which are basically like clubs that have houses on campus and raise money for philanthropies

don’t be stupid
debt is something that unfortunately comes with getting any sort of degree which is seemingly needed to be able to stay afloat in today’s world.
If you’re against debt for something like college, advocate for no college debt and socialized college! :) or be quiet and stop complaining.
