    thanks for the vid, way better than reading those black and white instructions haha

      Somebody took good photographs for the instructions. Then the graphics team went to work, making the images as grainy as they could get away with, while still including the photographs. The text is good, but the photos are atrocious that way. It would have been better to have one double-sided page of text, and a second one for photographs.

    Great vid man ! Question - do you find the sway bars to be better than the GPM stabilzing option? Or vise versa ? TIA !!

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  7 месяцев назад +2

      Why not both? If you had to pick one, I would go with the GPM for sure. You can dial in a vehicle so well as to remove the need for the sway bars.

      Appreciate the feedback! I’m new to the 4tec, and my hoppyshop just started doing 1:10 scale races. Little by little I’ve been tuning my 4tecs up some. Wanted to see what the better route here would be. Next I’ll be looking into tuning the shocks, springs/fluid.

    Did you use the top hole on the shock tower in the rear too? That way it slightly lowers the rear too

    Hello. I notice the angle on the seats are different. Which one is front and which one is rear

      I wonder if you have to swap out the top of the diff case?

      @@GoKaioken you wouldn't know that part # would you? N honestly the guy last night I talked at traxxas was a huge a*^hole. Lol. Like it was my fault they told me it was the wrong body to begin with. The rear does have the little cuts like I saw urs did. But my front end doesn't have that foam bumper area u have.

      @@reddsie8362 Although, for the greatest part, Traxxas has excellent customer support, there are definitely aspects of their support that are useless/worthless. A big part of this isn't necessarily the fault of the people working in customer support, or even the support department, but is the fault of Traxxas. I could give many examples, but one I love to use has to do with extended & compressed shock lengths. This 'basic' info is something that all other manufacturers have and/or provide. Unfortunately, not only does Traxxas not provide such info to consumers, they don't even provide this info to their own support department...thus, if you contact them for this type of info, it's not that they don't 'want' to give you the info...it's that they, themselves, don't even have such info to tell customers. The same holds true for countless Traxxas parts, but this "problem" is one I've personally experienced. In many ways, Traxxas is like Microsoft - a company we love to hate, and hate to love, but we still spend boatloads of money on their products.

      @@reddsie8362 They might have been trying to tell you that you could not get to where you wanted to go with what you had in hand. I find that TRAXXAS support goes 'by the book', so something like swapping in a different diff case is not on the table, even if it works. For that, one has to turn to other users for help, such as seen here.
