Tony Tucker was a very underrated fighter and gave a prime Mike Tyson maybe his biggest challenge until the fateful Buster Douglas fight in 1990. In the early 90’s, Donovan Ruddock also gave Tyson all he could handle at times. Tony Tucker also claimed he broke his right hand early in the fight against Tyson, which appears to be true in the fight. He relies almost exclusively on his left jab, and movement. Tucker later went the distance against Lennox Lewis also, losing by UD.

Tyson's hardest fights were OUTSIDE the ring .. Inside he is a King 👑
Tyson was awesome. He had people in his corner who ripped him off throughout his career plus.the jail sentence which was little iffy.
It just seems like Tyson is truly a man of iron. He is so tough as to be unbeatable.
13:33 - Trump, Don King and Muhammad Ali sitting together.
Even though Mike was known as the Best Heavyweight Champ, he was always undersized against majority of his opponents. This fight simply displays the advantages of true heavyweight opponents that knew how to use their reach and size. Respect to Mike for fighting bigger opponents and knocking them out…unfortunately this mismatch of size got the best of Mike not being able to dismantle and knockout Tucker like he does to most. Hats off to Tucker for being one of the very few Men that stood toe to toe for 12 rounds with Iron Mike.🥊
That was a good right hand by Tucker. it was a left uppercut and Mike had a great chin.
He just became the undisputed champ yet he was very humble.
Where was this solid right hand at the very beginning of the first round that rocked Tyson I just can't see it.
I think it's always best to watch these fights with the bias commentary off.
And simply judge for yourself
This is the best comment👍
Yea definitely didint “rock him”and he ate the punched but the commenters were just trying to make it interesting I guess
I didn't see it either.
Dude Mike said he rocked him In the first round at the end
Watch the fight and do you see Tyson rocked in the first round like the commentators say
There will Never be another Boxer that Could Ever walk in Iron Mike's Shoes He is The Greatest and The Very Best You Are My Hero since I was a young little Child
If the sportscaster
would shut up it
would be better !
Compared to PRIME Ali, TNT Tucker is a slow as Christmas yet he's causing Tyson all kinds of trouble early, yet people think Tyson beats a PRIME Ali... that's crazy. PRIME Ali destroys Tyson! Tuck is like a 35% PRIME Ali.
Bruh boxing isn’t football,Tucker had the perfect approach to really beat tyson at that time in his career and he couldn’t,60s Ali would be caught more often and may have been knocked down more times, still faster and better overall reflexes than tucker though,I'm almost tempted to favour 70s Ali,who knew how to recover better and put more clinches in his fights
@Juggernaut934
Ok... lol
@@lefonzopollock4345 you can’t argue with your own supposition 🤣 remember Henry Cooper send Prime Ali to heaven with that left hook, you don’t understand the sweet science, nothing is predictable or writen, the fact that you’re saying tucker is 35% of prime Ali is ridiculous 🤣 statistics coming from your head,he was literally a bigger version of Thomas hearns
@Juggernaut934
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ 🙌🏿 my friend. I am not looking to argue with anyone. I'm just a boxing fan, and I love both of them. In my opinion, Prime Ali is like A+ and Prime Tyson A! It's my opinion, and that's all, my opinion and yours is your opinion. I cool 😎 with that. Have a blessed 🙌🏿 night in Jesus' name, John 3:5/Acts 2:38, before it's too late 🙏🏾
Tucker was a good fighter.
Plot twist: most of tysons oppenents were newbies and didnt know to fight so he just punched them around leading to a quick knockout.
Ese tuker era increíble ... debió ser una leyenda 😮
If I'm not mistaken he lost on points... I can hold on
He took that punch like it was nothing and was disappointed even though he won that he didn't KO him.
For the first time I can see a prime Ali beating Tyson.
Prime Ali would've made easy work of Tyson.
Congratulations Mike for the win❤
Yes
Referee is the same in celebrity death match. Every time I hear his voice.😂😂
58 years old man showed the world that how to fight huge strong man age of 27 thank you MİKE TYSON ALLAH BLESS YOU♥️♥️♥️🏅🏅🏅
This is why Tyson never fought Lennox Lewis. When they were young. Long fights wasn't his thing. Plus Lewis was a heavy hitter 😊
Mike and Lennox fought June 8, 2002.
Not really Tyson was in freaking prison 🤣
They sparred and fought, if they had fought when he was young Tyson's chances were 80 or 90 percent better Tyson bout ended him in the sparring session 😊
Wrong they didn't fight because Tyson turned pro in 1985 well Lewis was still an amateur and waiting till 2002 to fight Tyson who was not the same fighter
@@77BigMando no he was literally in prison he would have been forced to fight Tyson professionally had he not went to prison way sooner , everyone that knows anything about boxing knows this .....Lennox Lewis was pro in 89 ... 89 to 2003
In these Tyson fights, he can really get your heart rate up, along w/building your stomach muscles just watching!!, not to mention feeling everyone of those left hooks that connects on point!
He held Tyson the whole fight
your delusional
@@johnnychase3505 naw you are if you don’t see that
He wanted to date, Mike I think..
The more them commentators talked Tony up, the more Mike whooped his a$$ lol
When Tyson started Jabbing Tucker lost this fight
Its amazing that Mike Tyson could go through twelve rounds of boxing with relative ease this, he didn't break a sweat.
Tucker is pretty much an Ali clone this is the closest we will get to an Ali Tyson bout
Кто бы что ни говорил , но Тайсон гораздо популярнее всяких Такеров , холифилдов Льюисов и тд вместе всятых! Хейтеров у Тайсона много но фанатов еще больше
This was one of tysons matches i seen him least busy in. He had a flu that night and dint feel well.
This makes me think that a Prime Ali had a realistic chance to beat a prime Tyson, something I had the tendency to doubt everytime the qyestion came to my mind.
Prime Ali beats everyone except maybe Lennox Lewis.
Chapeaux a Tiker...Tyson always a beast
I like the referee You can tell he knows what the heck he's doing.
Mills Lane. Legend
HERES THE UNSTOPPABLE IRON MIKE WE ALL KNOW &♥️&RESPECT-ITS ALL PREMEDITATED FROM MIKE-100%🎤
He was a bulldoze Period.
そんなにも、強いのですね。
All Tucker showed is that he can last a fight by clenching or hugging Tyson round after round instead of boxing. He was probably giving Mike LGBT vibes & goose bumps with all that intimate hugging.
35:40 Donald Trump in the front row next to a guy with sunglasses.
Yes.
The meeting with best boxer and worst president.
That’s Muhammad Ali in the sunglasses

Tony Tucker was a very underrated fighter and gave a prime Mike Tyson maybe his biggest challenge until the fateful Buster Douglas fight in 1990. In the early 90’s, Donovan Ruddock also gave Tyson all he could handle at times. Tony Tucker also claimed he broke his right hand early in the fight against Tyson, which appears to be true in the fight. He relies almost exclusively on his left jab, and movement. Tucker later went the distance against Lennox Lewis also, losing by UD.
Tucker fought well in the fight. My favorite memory of Mike Tyson was when he was crawling around looking for his mouth piece! When Buster Douglas knocked him out Fantastic!
An epic sight to be seen!
Mike Tyson got that patch in the middle of his head 😂
Is the non hair patch in his head where his brain is most active or is he going ball?
In his prime my god he could fight and had the power to back it GG mike

Naw I got tucker winning
@@Daniel_Antonio_Arellano782 Thanks. 👍
@@mopar_keys Tucker was controlling the fight. I felt like Tucker if he hadn’t injured his hand would have won. Tyson in the second half became the boxer, and it was like Leonard vs Duran I. The judges were witnessing foreign territory, and Tucker fought his fight and deserved some recognition.
Round 1 Tyson 9 Tucker 10
Iron Mike Tyson 21 years old World Champion.. Wow... incredible task.. What a Fighter and Great Fight.
Great quality footage for the time. Punchy colours too 😂
Mike Tyson’s barber jacked his hair up. Gave my man a huge bald spot
Can Tyson defeat Tucker in this bout
Completing all the 12 rounds against the boxer like Mike Tyson without big injury is also wonderful performance. Good luck to both players as well as officials associated.
