my LS's sounded significantly brighter/livelier once I upgrade to 500k's. defo worth a try imo.
@@ripwildy2022 Nice! I will try it!
I toke the capacitor out and I got a better sound. Probably, someone in the past installed these capacitor and it was killing the sound of the pickups. Now I will buy a correct capacitor. By the way, if someone have the same circuit/pickups, let me know the capacitance you guys are using!
Mid boost is bad. It is destroying your sound.
I really love the Lace Sensor demo videos!
I’m looking to incorporate Lace Sensors in two builds.
Is there a Lace Sensor that you feel would make a good jazz neck pickup?
Thanks! 😄👍
I’d recommend the Blue, it sounds very full and warm - so great for jazz 🙂
I have a strat with blue lace sensor in the neck. I LOVE it. It still sounds like a strat but with a shade more ballz.
Which JVM model is it? Btw great playing, and sensors sound epic like always
Dawid Piątek - Thanks! It’s a JVM215C 50W Combo 👍
@@ElliotStent Thank you! Probably gonna get one of those soon :)
Dawid Piątek - You won’t regret it, been my main amp for almost 10 years! 👌
Thinking of putting a purple or emerald in the mid position
Try light blue in the middle. It's 🔥.
@@Place_to_keep_videos what about a hot gold 6.0k in the middle..... 👍
Is the purple good for blues?
Yup
Amazing review and your demo song is insane !! Where can i get it ? keep it up, you are electrifying !
Vincent Millette - Thank you! 😄 Only available here 😉👍
Did you try the purple in the neck?
Hi Elliott, I just set up the triple rainbow pack for my HSS strat. Do you have any preferences for pickup height? I know the standard advice is to adjust to taste, but was wondering if you had a setup I could compare with other than the official measurements on the Lace site. Thanks.
Hi, I had these pickups installed by a professional who I believe followed the recommended heights from Lace 👍
Do you have them set low or high?...
why does the intro song remind me of Viv Woman by Steve Vai??
Elliot, have you thought about demoing the gold set?
Fender.Fan - Hi, I own a set of Lace Sensor Golds but I don’t have any intention to reinstall them in either of my Strats, so probably won’t make a demo 😅
Elliot Stent No worries! Your demo style is the greatest, keep up the good work. I appreciate the response Elliot
Fender.Fan Thanks for the kind words! 😄
I have 1983 USA strat with Lace Sensor PU ------I want to put a P90 tone in there----Any suggestions. I don't want to do any modifications, just an exchange of PU?
Lace Purple will do
@@MrInfinite43 Can you suggest which one---I do not really care for the neck pick up so I was going to replace that---So as there are a choice of three which one do you suggest to get that warm humbucker/P90 tone?
I have a question. Are you playing in this video with pot tbx tone at 10?
My Plus doesn't have it. Had it completely removed and replaced with standard volume/tone/tone control layout instead.
@@ElliotStent thanks a lot!
How would you rate these with the red, blue and silver set? Thanks mate!
Joon Park - They’re pretty different dude, but in a good way! 👌
Like I said in the vid, the Red & Blue pickups are more akin to humbuckers whereas all three of the pickups in the Triple Rainbow pack offer a more traditional single-coil sound, but with some added heat! 🔥
@@ElliotStent if you had to pick between the two would you go for these? I currently have the gold set on me strat but wanted a beefier sound but I cant decide on which.
Joon Park - The guitar that I used in this demo originally had Lace Sensor Golds, and the Triple Rainbow pack definitely offers a beefier sound with more output, but they retain that single-coil character. If you want your Strat to sound really modern and able to handle high-gain, go with the Red/Silver/Blue set 👍
@@ElliotStent I got dually red in Bridge and sliver/blue it has the ultra strat set up so I get all these crazy tones.
