1:17 Is by far my favorite. I love how to two bells ring at the same rate but one is slightly delayed so they combine and make a really interesting sound.
Great video man! Even saw the night we were at Daffan too! UPDATE: A refurbished Safetran and MI Bell are in the vault and may be reused at a crossing I was told!!! I believe the MI bell is the one from Morrow St
Most of the crossing in my area in Southern, Ontario only feature one bell per railroad crossing. It not very common to see 2 of them let alone mixed types at the same time. What a huge variety here!!❤❤
We need a Bell Combo to be added at some Railroad Crossings! This Bell Combo that I want to hear for the very first time is GS Type 1 & high-pitched Siemens! I'm hoping that can happen at Goddard Rd. in Wyandotte, MI, as the East Side Gated Signal's original GS Type 2 E-Bell has now died & hopefully it can get replaced with a high-pitched Siemens E-Bell, while the East Side Mast Signal still has it's original GS Type 1 E-Bell!

Not exactly at the same rate.
Great video! Safetran Type 3s + GS Type 2s honestly make for a neat bell combo, TBH.
As they both sound similar.
That Bell Combo can be heard at the Railroad Crossings throughout Ecorse, Wyandotte, & Trenton, MI!
Pretty common!
Agreed, the slight difference in their sounds (assuming you’re talking about the low-tone type 3) makes them sound very pleasant when combined.
Great compilation! Bell combos are always fun to come across, TBH.
6:21 - Correction: Safetran Type 2 - GS Type 3

WHOA! It seems like someone New has joined the signal team.

I LOVE THE DOPPLER EFFECT!!!
4:49 A railfan's worst fear
3:03
Therapist: crossbuck-less railroad crossings doesn't exist, you shouldn't worry about it.
crossbuck-less railroad crossing:
Nice compilation - well done.
1:49 I love how the m bell is louder than the e bell
I love those bells
the us&s bell in the last clip got replaced with a gs type 3.5 ebell
rare but new bell huh?
See I love the sounds
2:40 music to my ears
the gates here are malfunctioning 2:35
1:23. That so called NEG e bell is a GS type 2, there’s no ring like design at the bottom of the bell
Whoops. Wasn't being careful when writing this I guess. Good catch.
@TheCentralTexasRailfan haha no problem. I remember when I can't tell the difference of those bells. Nice video regardless
Thank you! I can tell the different pretty easily but wasn't being careful when writing this.
7:29 Reminded me of the Woodrow Avenue railroad crossing
Great video bro!
Cool audio video!

2:17 sounds like my crossing (now with a type 3 after it got replaced)
1:19 I believe that's a GS type 2, not NEG. Also 6:22 that's a GS type 3.
2:35 what location is this?
Awesome video

And say goodbye to the 747
4:10 I’m guessing the Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell doesn’t work anymore.
The two Safetran mechanical bells were disconnected when the gated mast signals were put up.
@@TheCentralTexasRailfan my bad.
1:23 where's the other back light for the signal across the road
It's there, but twisted the wrong way after being hit by something.
3:05 what type of bird is that?
I have no idea, sorry.
2:36 is a malfunction?
4:38
Classic 1:49
Indeed
1:23 that sounds cool
