This has been going on at this and other ports for decades. We worked the Port of Bmore when I was in Auto Theft in the 90s. Found stolen cars, parts, drugs on a daily basis.
Man where I'm from, kids in the 90's to mid 2000's were stealing Hondas left and right! But mostly for reputation and a means to get around or to hit the night races! Imagine if they had these types of connections...
Soooo who owns the containers ?? And how did 12-17 year olds get recruited by an overseas crime syndicate??? It was stated that allegedly most of the car theft was done by juvenile's. No one can track WHO is putting the vehicles in the containers?? Who owns the containers and who is putting the vehicles in them?? There is no kind of paper trail to follow??
