I just bought a german one that is very similar to yours. same shape, same battery, but with a dome over the light you can flip up to expose the bulb, or shutter it.

Good video thanks for posting - I have a couple of the British versions I use that come with coloured discs to change the light colour for green or red, according to requirements. They also have more code option.

He Mark, I saw those also. I could only get the Swedish and the Swiss at this moment. In my next video I will ad a solar panel and a charger for your mobile phone. A bit more challenging but fun to try.....

Or use a 9 volt, or two, and a Buck converter (9VDC - 3VDC) and the battery will last quite some time.
I have a Norwegian one and I’m going to do the above. I can fit in three 9volt batteries, a DP3T switch and the converter board and still have room for a couple of spare LEDs. Probably run it at around 4.7 vdc.

Hello there, this video has been very informational for me as I've been doing some flashlight projects myself. Do you by any chance know the manufacturer or storefront of the LED bulb that you use? For some reason, the LEDs in my workshop doesn't seem to like what I'm doing. If you're curious, I'm working on a Norwegian 'elves' surplus flashlight.

Hi, sounds like a cool project. I was looking for the bulbs but i could'nt find them again. I could find some similar ones. I google for LED E10 3V for my flashlight. And bought them from a dutch website. The Volt is importend to prevent burn out and LED only works in one direction so switching + and - my work. But I guess you already tried that. I wish you succes. Are you sharing a video on your project?
      Greetings Wim
