Old soft strengthshop vs New soft strengthshop (dyed edition)

- This was a gorgeous crush in every way. The contrast of the super soft and dusty chalk (old strengthshop on the left side) to the delicious crispy sounding, crunchy giving chalk on the right side (new strengshop soft chalk) was just muaaah. The cherry on top: the dust + flakes + crusts 🤤😋😍!
But I was not only comparing the chalks. I was also comparing the dyes. So the solid colors (red and green) are dyed with the powder dye I use from Alice Délice. And the multi coloured blocks are dyed with liquid water colour from Pebeo. It looks to me that the water colour dye works best on buttery soft chalk. The firmer chalks just don’t absorb the water colour dyes as much. Interesting. And yummy. And FABULOUS. And I wish I had moreeeeeeee to crush 😫😅💕.
And on this note, I say a big thank you to all for rocking with me these past 8 months. Its been surreal, fulfilling, challenging, fun but above all an amazing creative outlet + I’ve got to make me a small virtual family. My own personal space of peace.
It’s time for me to take my break which means I may not be able to respond to all comments or messages. But, to avoid the social media algorithms turning against me while I’m away, I WILL STILL BE POSTING DAILY. Mainly edits and compilations of previous videos but also do expect and stay tuned for some new shorts + long videos here and there.

Don’t we all, but the uncertainty is what is a pain. You know what Fiona, i think i over dried these blocks. Maybe would be less crunchy if I took them out earlier. 🤔💕💕

Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for softer chalk I'm a little sad that the new ones are so firm, still nice when I want to hear the crunch but I still prefer softer chalk. Don't matter tho as chalk in general melts in your hands! Have a wonderful break, you deserve it!

i really love the old strength shop bc the perfect amount of crispy and crunchy snaps it had also it's so buttery soft.. don't hate the new one bc i love crunchy chalk so much but not rock hard& firm even tho both are really very amazing still OLD IS GOLD!! the gorgeous colors here they look really perfect 🤌🏽💖♥️💙
