Love the idea of mixed backdrops and I love backdrops mixed in! Absolutely adore your setup and fact that you’ve downsized a lot of makeup. I’ve just done the same. As I’ve gotten older I know what works for me and which brushes are my favs so I ended up gifting a ton to family and friends. It feels so good! Now I’m never questioning everyday which products I’m going to use! With age I’ve wanted to simply my life and makeup and skincare is a BIG part of my life! Thx for sharing your life with us! Xoxo

Hello Lisa :-)) Lovely Room, mix up is good lol. I have a little flat that is cosy but my TV and furniture has to stay in the same place due to TV sockets and wires etc :-( Also yes to getting rid of old makeup, we all need to do a clear out from time to time no matter how big or small lol. oxoxoxoxox

Such a beautiful room! I honestly prefer a decorated backdrop vs a plain one and it doesn’t bother me that its allways the same with a few changes now and then (diferent decoration objects, books, pillow cases, paintings on the wall). I look at the backdrop from time to time but most of the time I focus on the person and what he/she is doing. Keep up with the great videos! Love your work 🌟

Haha it’s like you read my mind! Just set up my Alex drawers and tabletop tonight and the tabletop size wasn’t right. Went to look at one of your previous posts to see how yours looked and here was your tour! Now I know which tabletop size I need. 🤣👍🏼
I don’t like a solid backdrop. I like a normal look for a background. Yours is good. Maybe move things around on shelf from time to time for different decor in your background. But I like yours a lot.

WHAT A TREAT! I'm rather new to utube videos, but subscribed to your channel as soon as I saw one of yours. This was an awesome idea, maybe we makeup lovers are all the same, but when I saw the video title I was SO EXCITED lol. Perhaps I need to get out more 😆, but I really super enjoyed seeing it all, I may watch it again! I'm in the middle of setting mine up, so I got some really good ideas, thank you!
Also, just an extra bonus, you have a lovely calming voice when you speak, but cheery and happy too! It's lovely to listen to, while you showed us your beautiful special room, I'm sure that you deserve it! Thanks again, and super idea. PS. Yes to the background changes, I believe a lot if us are probably artistic or into home decor, so that's another great idea, especially when you've set it up to work easily.

You could film in a dark cave (with lights, of course!) and I’d still be delighted to watch you, Lisa! I focus on you and what you’re demonstrating, so the backdrop makes no difference to me. If mixing it up would make it more fun for you, though, go for it! If you’re happy, we’re happy. ❤️
I like the background with the shelves filled with the couple of photos, knick knacks, etc.. I also really like your lighting. The room is well lit without being harsh. Your room, lighting, make-up style & personality blend perfectly to give off a soft, peaceful, ladylike vibe that makes me really enjoy your videos. Don't change a thing!💖
I love your filming/makeup room!!! I like your backdrops with items behind you vs. a plain backdrop. I hope to move into a bigger place and have my own makeup room as my tiny bathroom just isn't cutting it!

Oh I love your storage! Everything is very organized and neat looking. I knew you probably had a lot of brushes, but when you opened the drawer that was indeed a lot of brushes. I also have a lot of brushes and I have a few of the BK brushes and they are also the ones I keep cleaning & using. I don’t have a preference for the background because I am interested in what you are reviewing or applying. Thanks for sharing!🥰🤠

Yes, a variety of all your lovely backdrops would be nice. But not really a solid colour one: I usually find that pretty boring and... flat.
It looks practically set up. I like the change of backgrounds. The solid backdrops are genius and user friendly for you amd good for the eye while teaching techniques, etc..

Love all the organization and your makeup vanity looks perfect.. love the swivel lipstick holder too. It’s a nice big room that fits in a lot of furniture and equipment but still looks cozy and inviting. I enjoy a different background every now to mix it up. Beautiful job Lisa 😘

I like the home feel background and not the back drops. However, I don’t really pay much attention to the background and don’t understand why some people make a big issue out of it. For some reason I feel the video is more personal when it has the home feel and more cold with a back drop.
I think your current backdrop is one of the best on YT right now! That said, I also would not mind if you switched back and forth with something else once in a while. Whatever you want to do, just go for it! 😘

I always wonder how people with a lot of makeup keep track of expiration dates. I don't even notice your back drops--that's not important to me. I WOULD like to know about the leopard pallette on your filming desk. I like the idea of making my own pallette.
Your beauty room is lovely Lisa, Not over done like some you see here on RUclips, it’s practical, would love to see a different backdrop every now and again, but the one you use is always Pretty.... I like a comfortable home like feel in the background with pretty decorative items. A Solid backdrop is a nice way to show colors such as outfits etc. You do a great job decorating your background..so lovely my friend it was great to see your filming room. ❤️
Your room looks so much nicer than mine. Someday my room will be pretty. Behind the scenes I have about 15 totes full of my daughters stuff🤣It looks glamorous on camera but it's really not.
I may be in the minority, but I have no preference when it comes to backdrops/backgrounds. I watch for you and the content, so whatever is most comfortable for you is most important.

Saw you have the give it to me straight palette. I bought it thinking I have brown eyes and should try a warm palette but haven’t worn it yet. If you ever do a three looks one palette video or something with it that would be awesome.
I always wonder if you have multiples of your orchid colored candle, or if it's the same one and it just lasts forever. When I very first started watching you, I remember that your pretty pinkish-purple colored candle was always in the background, and it's been a constant. Isn't it funny the things we wonder about?

Hi Lisa, I enjoyed your beauty room tour. You have everything organized which makes life so much easier when there is a home for everything. When you know where to go for something specific you need how nice to know where to go!!! I wish I had a beauty room where I could get ready & do my make up. Keeping that wish for one day having one of my own. My husband & I are currently living with my parents because they are older now & need some assistance so space is limited but I do have a nice bathroom where I can do my make up. I don’t think a plain paper background would be interesting. I like the window with outside light coming in & I also like your shelf unit with the accessories. So I would just keep it as is for now. Don’t do the paper background. That would be boring I think. Thank you for showing us your beauty room where you bring us your fantastic videos from. Appreciate you & keep up the good work.

THANK YOU! For those of us who wonder what a setup could be and how complicated/or simple it can be to film this was awesome! I think it would be fun to see you use your skills on more special guests-like a bridal consult, a basics consult-for teens who are just getting into makeup- different skin types-how to cover acne etc. I love looking at your sweet face but always wonder how to apply it to me(I am very fair) your techniques rock and we LOVE your content. I am 51 tomorrow and have been a cosmetologist and artist for many years...but gotta say you have saved me a ton of money cause now I don't have to try EVERYTHING to find my favs-I trust your judgement.
