Hi. When i lived not far from Pluckley. I was in the graveyard and stayed awhile. I also went into the Screaming Woods. The further you went into the woods the more growling i heard. Hi from the West of Ireland.
Stumbled across your channel purely by chance and I'm hooked. Your even paced and non sensationalist approach is a breath of fresh air when compared with some others. I loved the historical part and the walk around. I lived in Kent, Ramsgate, for around 10 years and ventured to Pluckley on a few occasions in daytime and at night. Didn't come across anything but the pubs served good beer n food. I look forward to catching up with your further vids.
Fair play to you for going into the woods. love the woods at night.. me and mate went here two years ago and the looks we got. we did go into the graveyard though little look around. Great vid.
I know that the Railway Station at Pluckley too is haunted. It is the oldest wooden built Railway Station in the world and I have heard stories from staff there who have had strange experiences , totally genuine people too.
I walked into a pub ( 18th )in Hedon East Yorkshire, can’t remember the name but I could find out, it wasn’t very busy and I initially thought they must be having a “ Ye olde fancy dress competition, ( each to their own ) I thought……I went to the loo and felt someone behind me and they gave my pony tail a sharpe pull…..😊on turning round there was no one there, On leaving I told the barmaid… she said “ oh she does that ! I immediately saw a picture in my head of who she was in life… and when I looked around the figures in fancy dress had also gone ! Well let me tell you , they wouldn’t have won any prizes for what they were wearing 😂 Obviously I was glad to get out of there , I don’t normally see Ghosts, I usually get “ suggestions “ of them or messages.😮
I really wanted to go to the Black Horse pub, I think the next nearest was a 5/10 minute drive outside the village but I ran out of time. Didn't see many eggs fortunately 🤣
Lots of places lay claim to be the most haunted village in the UK. According to author Ross Andrews, Prestbury village has the most ghosts per square foot, than any other village in the country.👻
went there about 20yrs ago with my family and my brother, we always had stuff going on with ghosts and seem to attract them, the night we went there was 5 dark shadows to the left of the church in the wooded area, my cousins jumped in their cars and ran away leaving me and my brother laughing as didn't scare us, but yeah theres defo stuff there, mainly they just watch you from the darkness, didn't feel hostile to us though
@@ClarkesHorrors just subscribed as seems a really interesting channel, live in westcountry now! Lots of stuff down here in devon/cornwall, maybe try St. Keyne Churchyard though most call it kenwyn graveyard in truro, strong few in that place, theres a blank raised grave there next to some pointed needle of a gravestone just behind the church, good place to stir up some action is Round the back there
i used to be in a ghost investigation group, but the covid-19 outbreak stopped all that...a highly recommendation is to buy a evp device, there not that expensive and can be bought from anywhere online for roughly £10 to 40..if you got a spare bit of money a modifed spirit radio can help out lots when trying to get the departed to talk to you the P-SB7T spirit radio is the best choice if on a ghost hunters budget and can be bought for £60 to 80 👍
Thanks for the rocemmend! I'll definitely look into those. I've just been using my phone so far. Picked up a couple strange things but it's hard to say.
Tried to comment on Tiny Tims Tearooms Canterbury, but continuously got, "RETRY, FAULT 503", Thus unable to. One grave on its own could be on unconsecrated ground?
I really want to believe in Ghosts, but the concrete evidence is simply not there in my opinion. Maybe your channel can finally get the evidence we need! Subbed...
I remember visiting Pluckley as a kid, we had some food at the Black Horse pub, it defo had creepy vibes. This must of been way back in 1997.@@ClarkesHorrors
If you had lived in a haunted house like I once did, you'd certainly believe in ghosts! One of our dogs was really spooked, she could clearly see something we couldn't. Some of our possessions kept disappearing and reappearing - and certain parts of the house had a nasty feeling. Getting up in the night to go to the bathroom was a real challenge!
@susanwillson6672 thats fascinating! May I ask what part of the UK you lived in? I'm thinking of doing a future series in 'real' haunted houses, perhaps even returning to the one my ex used to live in.
With all these trapped souls with tradgic endings when they were alive and people in the village wierdly acting hostile to visiters it make you wonder as some one or some people did some sort of demonic curse in the village.
How can EVERY village/house/pub etc ALL BE THE MOST HAUNTED? Only ONE can be classed as such. I wish all youtubers would do some real research and fact checking before typing what amounts to be ‘clickbait’ headlines 🤦🏼♀️

I love Pluckley! Haven't seen or heard anything here, but the local pubs are great.
Do they still chuck eggs at people at Samhain?
I really wanted to go to the Black Horse pub, I think the next nearest was a 5/10 minute drive outside the village but I ran out of time. Didn't see many eggs fortunately 🤣
I did go there and never saw much but a great place to go around.
Most interesting 👌
Hi ive just subbed to you , so i got alot of binging to do ..thank u
Hi, and welcome! Thanks for the sub 😁
@@ClarkesHorrors ✌🏻👻
It really looked creepy in the graveyard. You said you were getting bad vibes xx ❤❤
Why do people always assume ghosts mostly haunt at night.
Like the living they just want to be left in peace and sleep at night.
I guess it's because less people are generally around at night? Either way, staff reported seeing the old lady during the day too 👀
Apparently Prestbury, in Gloucestershire, is the most haunted village in the UK. ^^

Hadn't heard of it until now, but I'll put it on my list!
I JUST SUBSCRIBED!

That sounds amazing! Thanks so much for sharing. Seems to be a very mixed bag of responses 😄

New sub here . Thankyou 🖤 🖤
Thank YOU!
I would love to own a pub but it’s hard work long hrs ❤
Perhaps the spooks could help out!

Nothing was seen, didn't predict that.
The villagers started all these stories. Then complain when people come to investigate.
I think you are right with that.
I really want to believe in Ghosts, but the concrete evidence is simply not there in my opinion. Maybe your channel can finally get the evidence we need! Subbed...
Thank you so much! Hopefully my no bs approach will make it a little more credible for when I actually do (hopefully) capture something.

I'm expecting science to eventually admit that phenomena exists, but inexplicable at this point. A la UFOs.
Could just be an over active imagination
