Did not mention boycotting which in this case is vital and of course above all else is establish your prayers and turn to Allah the master of the heavens and earth and everything in-between.
This are the kind of so called sheikhs that won't go and protest or sign petition, but sit at home and make zikr, drink tea etc. forgetting that there is time and place for each of them. People should stay away from ignorant people like this
