They are suppose to be emotional and string recordings should be the best fit along with a slower tempo just like the version in MG miami. It's too much on alesso's side. It's also very sad that shaun got replaced because his voice is one of kind and magical. They should stick to the golden rule that is to never change something that is already good. So heartbroken to hear how this song is turning out 💔💔💔

I think the original version was so much better with all its power and emotion, but they must've liked this pitched up version instead. It's not awful, but the drop just seems hollow and weak. Shaun's voice definitely fit the original well, but it sounded a bit strange and unnatural when pitched up, so I get the vocalist change.
Both versions never drove me crazy luckily (still sad about dreamer by Awell /\ Ingrosso 😂). Drops are a bit weak for my tastes. I have to admit it would be an amazing pop/acoustic song (in this case, Shaun's vocal would be perfect) but as an edm progressive track... It reminds me a bit of 'No Sleep' for example (Impulse bootleg is amazing). I'm afraid they rushed it before ultra and they ended up with a track with so much potential that the fans love but they're/he's not 100% sure about. And there it is: the higher pitch and the vocals changing. Onestly don't know what I would choose at this point.

En lo personal me gustaba mas la version v2 pero sin embargo en esta version podria decir que se siente mas magica al contrario de la version de ultra que era mas melancolica pero tambien algo "seca" y en mi opinion yo que ellos mezclaria un poco de todas las versiones y creo que ahi si quedaria perfecto (espero lo hagan) y si sale esta version tampoco me quejaria porque pudieron haber hecho algo comercial y barato como un house para ser virales en tik tok
Tom Walker isn't bad, but I love the Ultra Miami version and Farrugias voice hits different!! I think if a song is in the producer's "queue" for too long, it will become worse than before...
this is more of the alesso's vibe. It is progressive, but its not as energetic as the Miami version. Drop feels empty without them white noise downfilters lol. Let's hope they don't ruin it. (NO OFFENSE TO ANYTHING OR ANYONE)
The umf23 mix never hit for me it never felt like a proper collab between the two. It sounded like “if we’ll ever be remembered” 2.0. That’s not a bad thing Whatsoever. The lyrics are better in this mix just mixed in poorly but that very well could be the recording. I’m all for Martin trying new singers out like oaks on Carry You.
