I’m sorry, but if you watch that first interview with Bob, he is absolutely on drugs. Look at his eyes, look the way his face the way his body moves. Look at the way his eyes close half the time. But the fact that he was on drugs, doesn’t change he’s a murderer or anything he said during that interview 🤷🏻‍♀️

Alright well I'm going to come out and say it: these podcasts are a completely missed opportunity. As an aspiring filmmaker, these have extremely little if anything to offer beyond what is on display in the episodes. Having gone through the Chernobyl series podcast, and the insight that they give you into the behind the scenes and making of elements, and comparing it to this, is pretty sad.
I don't think Mr Jarecki et al might ever see my comment here, but really dudes? This is the best you could come up with for after episode marketing material?
You couldn't have given some insight into the film making process? 21 years of working on this (according to Mr Jarecki) and the best you could do was take already available clips from your individual episodes, slap them together with 2 minutes of added commentary (not even commentary TBH, more like descriptive exposition), and use that to fill 30 minutes of 'podcast'.
For aspiring filmmakers who look to folks like you to get inspiration or gain insight or understanding in the process of what it takes to do something like this, these episodes are a total punt.
On the off chance that you ever see this comment, Mr Jarecki et al, maybe consider that given that you released this second season to this series after Bob Durst has died, and you've got a lot of other stuff going on in the world right now, that perhaps you might want to do a better job trying to promote the show you spent so much time working on. This ain't it. 21 years of work should lead to a lot more insight and commentary than these lazily done podcast episodes, which offer little if any background or behind the scenes, or making of, information for the viewer.
I guess you probably don't care that much, given that you've already been paid for the work, but man... real missed opportunity IMHO.
