Nothing new. We SRH fans are seeing this regularly. No matter how good SRH play, these media personalities will talk very less about SRH & more about why the opponent team failed.

It's the place he is playing that is wrong. KL has the highest average and almost the highest strike rate in last 5 overs in international cricket.

Doesnt matter in the last 5 overs he has got good srike rate means he will bat at a strike rate of 120 in the initial 40 balls then expode for remaining 15-20 balls which will not help the team
He puts lots of pressure on remaining batsman

Rahul really struggle especially in t20 batting as 5 and 6,because he initially takes too much ball to settle then only accelerate,
In the world cup final we saw 107 ball 66 runs, rahul is better suited in test and oneday, attcking young crickerts needs to be given preference

I can do LSG analysis I feel below are the point:
1. Giving too many chances to Padikkal due to which they didn’t used QDK up in the order.
2. Bringing back Ashton tuner at the end so that they can do power hitting with pooran didn’t workout as Turner is coming from an injury and very new in India condition.
3. Today they lost because over dependency on Marcus Stoins
4. They won few matches with Mayank Yadav like with his row pace they kind off defended well in those 2-3games and after that there were not many who can get wickets in the middle overs.
5. Ravi Bisnoi was under used because if he is not competing 4overs then who can do that for you KL
6. Siddharth was a very good find, couldn’t use him as well properly. He was delivering in power play without having much wickets but the impact was good.
7. Chasing was a problem and so called death overs. Like you can’t depend solely on Yash Thakur come and deliver and Yes you have Shamar Joeshp but oh boy you did not use him at all.
Yes there are many injury concern but I think this sums up the year for LSG.
If I have to pick one or two decision then Playing Ashton Turner and not using QDK was the one because of which it didn’t came out good for LSG after an early wins. Let me know what you think, if you are reading. 🤟

Indian pitches are badly in need of a change. The boundaries r closer in India and on top of it the pitches are flat.
Batsman get the benefit of restricive field placement in the first 6 overs. The fast bowlers need a litttle something too like a relatively fast pitch

KL Rahul goes into a shell the moment a single wicket falls and then puts pressure on the rest. He thinks he is anchoring the team but he is killing the game early.
Even lsg scored at RR of 11+ in last 10 overs. That too after loosing wickets.
So it was just poor batting.
Are we seeing absence of GG ? Team is similar, but performance is poor in both depts this time.
Lsg, if they can win next 2 matches. They can still qualify.

People compare KL Rahul with Rolls-Royce. When you look at his performance in ODI in the last 9 years. He scored 7 hundreds against:
1) On June 11, 2016, in Harare, against Zimbabwe
2) On July 6, 2019, in Leeds, against Sri Lanka.
3) On February 11, 2020, in Mount Maunganui, against New Zealand
4) On March 26, 2021, in Pune, against England
5) On September 11, 2023, in Colombo, against Pakistan
6) On November 12, 2023, in Bengaluru, against Netherlands
If this guy is Rolls Royce, what about other players like Pant, Sanju, Sky, Jadeja, Joe root, butler, Ben strokes, faf, Kohli, Rohit, williamson, Warner, etc
He played for these many years, just because of nepotism. Otherwise, huge talent is waiting to replace him at any point of time.
INDIA has seen so many great players, I don’t know where this guy stands in front of Ganguly, Sehwag, Gambhir, YV, Dravid, Suresh Raina, etc. (this is old generation). Imagine how the new generation players should have been…should have high skill sets.
