I just loved how Sam/Falcon & Bucky/The Winter Soldier worked so well together in the 6 episode series on Disney+ It was so good.
Is that something we could watch now without spoilers?
@@disneydatenite No, you can't. It has MANY spoilers. Just stick to the release order, that's how it's intended to be watched for a reason.
The Winter Soldier is still my favorite MCU film.
Mine too...
Same. Infinity War #2
Same here. Peak film
same
"That boy flyin' his ass off!" LMAO
11:19 the voice of Gary Sinise is fantastic 😊 wish he would’ve made It into the movie as an actual character tho 😊
Captain America does age but as long as he continue to train and workout he can stay in peak condition even at 90 years old.
Thank you!
Also you should know cap strength at this time using arms and legs should be able to lift 9 tons right now in the first Captain America movie it was only 6 tons like his strength was in the comic books. Bucky isn't as strong Steve for multiple reasons Becky serum was a diluted strain of Red skulls imperfect serum also the serum the best attributes of the person receiving it. In Bucky case the serum increases speed and reflexes more than it increased his strength but his robotic arm makes the difference up by being double Steve's strength.
Technically his body is physically still at whatever age he was when he was frozen. It was in cryostatis so he would be able to live another normal lifespan after the fact. I dont know how old Cap was in the original movie. They probably showed his birthday and year tho so its out there
@@nvp8191 Stop giving false information. Steve can't lift tons.
The helicopter scene. That's a 2007 Eurocopter H125, weighing in at 3,000 pounds and capable of producing 712 horsepower gives it aprox 550 kW of takeoff power (at sea level). This allows it to have a maximum takeoff weight of 6,000 lbs.
We can assume that the aircraft is hovering at a constant horizontal plain, otherwise the Captain and his arm would have been airlifted into the clouds. At hover mode, the helicopter will use 50% of its maximum engine thrust. So at 3,000Ibs at hover mode.
The most efficient angle of attack, in order to achieve a maximum lateral pull, would be 22.5 degrees. But the aircraft looks dead level. Thus it would be limited to the maximum angle of attack of about 12 degree, which is the maximum rotor tilt angle in helicopters.
At a 12 degree angle of attack, in order to maintain the same altitude, the helicopter had to have been using about 76% of its maximum engine power. Or 26% towards the lateral movement; which equals to about 780 pounds.
Makes sense since the helicopter failed to rip the steel railing off. Yet it's still impressive considering Steve most likely utilized the biceps and Deltoids while also firing his pectoral muscles. Though he also had he feet pushing onto the ground.
In the first movie when he was lifting the motocylce and the women. That's a Harley-Davidson WLA which has a dry weight of 540Ibs. There's also 3 women on top and with the average weight being 132 pounds that's an added weight of 396 Ibs. So cap was overhead lifting 540 + 396 = 936 Ibs.
In Civil War Captain America was able to overhead lift Iron man.
According to Shane Mahan, head honcho at Stan Winston Studio, the Iron man's suit weighs from 600-800Ibs. If we added Robert downey jr weight to those weight estimates, cap would be overhead lifting 770-970Ibs.
Steve from the 616 comics can't lift tons either, he is peak human, so is he in the MCU. He cant lift tons. So stop mispreding false information, buddy.
MCU Spider-Man is the one that has ridiculous tons feats, like holding Bucky metal arm while joking at only 15 years old, something Steve can't do, and Spidey did it while joking and no effort, holding Black Dwarf attack while joking, someone that is class 100 plus tons that can go toe to toe with The Hulk and Thanos for a little bit, the 3,000 plus tons ferry he held for a few second, the Santa Maria Formosa tower scene in FFH he had over 10,000 tons.
Falcon was not the first Black superhero, but he was the first I noticed as a child in the 1970s, so he will always have a special place in my heart.
The traditional story function of Sam is to introduce the topic of racism to Captain America stories. In the comic books, he even corrected Steve about microaggressions. This is why in the comic books, Sam is a social worker. That gives more opportunities for the topic of racism to come up. Needless to say, I was disappointed that the MCU version of Falcon did not do this. At least not until the TV show, then they made up for lost time in a big way. They even brought in Isiah Bradley, who has much harsher things to say about racism than Sam Wilson. For now, the closest Sam ever comes to bringing up the topic of racism in the story is when he recommended the Troubleman soundtrack.
Thank you for the background on Sam!!
My Favorite movie out of the MCU! I been here every Monday with you guys.
Glad you guys are on the journey!
Thanks for the support!!
This movie catapulted Cap to my favorite Marvel character after seeing it in theaters and never let up. The Russos took a character that many saw as a vanilla boy scout and turned him into a certifiable bad ass. And this movie also had my favorite MCU end credits with that awesome theme until Avengers Endgame took the title.
One of the best in the MCU!
And in 2014 we got this movie and Guardians of the Galaxy; great Marvel year.
It was sooooo good!!
The dude you said was a great actor was fantastic in the 2nd Purge movie.
I loved it...
32:10- Fun Fact: In the comics, around 1981, Hydra tried to eliminate Banner because they had similar plans, and paid the price..Hulk smashed thier entire island base into pieces, leaving no survivors. This movie's pretty close to the 2002 Graphic Novel in plot/story, so I say it's one of MCU's best Loved how they cast -5-time Oscar winner Robert Redford as Alexander Pryce, the first evil bad guy role he's ever done in his 55-year career.Great Reactions, guys!
That man cap really said you a little boy to me to bucky when he picked him up by the neck lol
4:30 Holy shit, I can't believe I'm now noticing that Jasper Sitwell is in the MCU
I hope we see him on the Agents of Smash if it's ever adapted, as the zombie
Captain America 🐐
Always to remember here is that Chris Evans and Scarlet Johansson have been close friends since they were about 12 years old, that’s why their chemistry is of the scale entertaining.
21:55, there is a RUclips channel in which the content creator (a medical doctor) reviews movie fight scenes and does critiques on how badly the characters would be hurt. According to his visual diagnosis NONE of these dudes would have been getting up to continue chasing Captain America. He said most of them would be in the emergency room getting bones reset and chugging pain meds.
Its the best Marvel movie, Winter Soldier is a great movie.
I would have to agree, my favorite so far!
Btw that dude was GSP
I just watched this yesterday moved on to garduians of the galaxy trying to watch them in order and find the missing gaps, cap has 2 of the best in the mcu with this one and Civil War
Love you guys and your reactions!!! However, for the record, yes, CAP DOES AGE. The super soldier serum creates a protective healing factor. Not quite like Wolverine's but effective enough to keep his blood from crystalizing while he was frozen and keep him from aging as fast as a normal human.
P.S.: This is all MCU, not from the comics.
Thanks for the clarification!!
@@disneydatenite - Anytime! Y'all keep doing what you've been doing! I just subscribed!😁😁😁
@@blackeychan1970in the comics how does his aging stop?
Now that you guys have gotten this far you should watch agents of shield either slowly react to it on the channel or watch it on your own time. My fav mcu show, Loki being #2 fav mcu show.
Agents of shield 7 seasons, 5 seasons of 22 episodes each & the last 2 seasons totaling 22 episodes. Each episode 40-50 mins long, it’s an ungodly amount of mcu content & once you’ve seen Winter soldier, agents of shield has no spoilers for the rest of the MCU.
Agent Coulson & his team, absolute legends, the show just gets better & better & explains so much more of the MCU than the movies ever could bc they have so much time to do it, the show ran from 2013-2020
I watched the entire series for the first time in 9 days & if I remember correctly it’s well over 100+ hours of AOS. The show starts off right after the first avengers movie w Coulson putting together his new team
To even start to understand how deep hydra goes you gotta watch AOS
Thank you!! We will definitely look into it
So glad youvguys are are on this journey. It gets better and better baby.
Looking forward to it!
YUS
IM READY
shoot I am 240 but not captain america 240 :c LOL
🤣🤣🤣
Nick Fury was such a mega badass... until Captain Marvel...and Secret Invasion .
Just opened RUclips and I’m earlyyyyyyyy “uploaded 6 minutes ago”😂🔥🔥 BEST captain America movie in my opinion
💯 agree!!!
@@disneydatenite can’t wait for y’all to see what’s really in store. After this movie it starts picking up real good.
What happened with Guardian Of Galaxy reaction?
In the beginning before we knew better, we went out of order! Here it is: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) | FIRST TIME WATCHING | MARVEL MOVIE MONDAY
ruclips.net/video/1Qsh1FfYn9A/видео.html
I enjoyed your video, but your edit cuts are very abrupt and jarring to watch. I'm sure you're perfecting your skills and will improve in the future. Enjoy seeing how your channel improves in the future.
I love you guys I enjoyed watching movies with you guys, but you edited this movie so bad you edited out the parts you are reacting to. I hope you edit the next one better. Because like I said I enjoy watching movies with you guys 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you! We are testing out a new editor for the next upload so please hang with us! Appreciate the feedback!
This ain even a superhero movie its a spy thriller
should watch agents of s.h.i.e.l.d.!
If we watch it now, are there spoilers?
@@disneydatenitenope! the show started a year after the first avengers movie. The end of season 1 the winter solider events start affecting the show I would totally sub to ur patreon if u started reacting to Agents of shield. Civil war events affect the show in season 4. AoS even shows how Fury got the helicarrier in age of ultron
Geez who edited this? All the cuts halfway through sentences jumping from one convo to the next is ROUGH
Yes we are working on finding a new editor! Hopefully you’ll hang with us!
50:18 I really like to watch you guys, but istg, the way you keep making that fucking sound drives me fucking crazy as a neurodivergent.
No need to watch on your own. Do a second reaction when it comes in the order and get views. Why not? You can share the experience. :-)
In my opinion, Cap's landing after disabling and jumping off the airplane is THE superhero landing of all superhero landings. Not lingering on that moment makes it even better. Sam Wilson...he is my favorite "addition" to the MCU. Sam is solid.
Heck yeah. Everyone in the movie theatre lost their crap when Cap did that landing. Sheeeeeeeeeeitt!!
One of the best movies not only in the MCU but a great film in general!
The villain that Captain America fights on the ship is former UFC middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre from Canada. He's retired of course. I might be wrong on the weight class he was in but I think he was a middle weight..... Not like that matters in this context ....LOL 😂
Yup welterweight lol
@@lovidodd21 thx for the info. I had a brain fart ..lol 😂
Yeah, and?
also his character is Batroc, a reoccurring villain in Captain America comics
@@admiralbishop3022 thanks for the assist. Respect
“Before we get started, does anyone wanna get out?” My favorite line and scene in this movie!!!!!!!!!
This one and the next Captain America are two of the best in the MCU. Can't wait to see how much she likes this one. It's an amazing movie.
Top 3 for me in the mcu
@@rashadwalker8218 hard to say better than Infiniti War or Endgame, so take those 2 out. lol
@@JangTheKim i said it was in my top 3
This is definitely my favorite MCU movie 💯.
@@JangTheKimInfinity War>civil war
36:27 "That weak ass kick!" Got me cracking! 🤣🤣
Hydra also infiltrated the Soviet Union. Both the Winter Soldier program and the Red Room (which you will learn about later) were programs that the Soviets thought were theirs, but were really run by Hydra.
Hydra might be a bunch of world dominating-wanting-brutal bitches but their reach is impressive. And the the fact that they made their numbers so big that not even the leader can tell how many was impressive.
I'm easy to impress when it comes to feats.
This is PEAK MCU 🤘🏽
I love that the tombstone on Fury’s grave has the “scripture” that Quentin Tarantino wrote for him to use in that movie with him and John Travolta.
Wow that’s cool
Love ya reactions together. This is top 3 of the marvel movies. Everything is amazing
Thank you!! I loved this movie and love Cap even more afterwards!
My favorite MCU movie! 💯 ✊🏾
I may not love the first two CA films, Steve is really likeable, and his friendship with Bucky was so heartwarming as two time-displaced guys.
Did yall know the music specifically here at 36:33 that plays when The Winter Soldier appears is a distorted version of bucky’s scream when he fell off the train
John Wick chapter 4 movie reaction please my friend 💞💓💗💖
Winter Sokdier is definitely in the top 3 of the Infinity saga. In my opinion, it this movie, Infinity War and Civil War
You need to see Black Widow great movie❗👍🏼😁
Captain America does age . FYI
So few reactors that recognise george saint pierre, greatest fight of all rime
Best Cap Movie
Love seeing the date nite notification come up. Glad y'all enjoyed this, it's a dope MCU movie. One of the best
Thank you!!
Yall bugging not reacting to more Harry Potter
The next one will be posted tomorrow!!
I can't stop laughing.
Best brother's in comedy.
You guys should also watch wolverine 2014, it's a good movie
Yea, you’ve seen the head of Hydra before: he’s Robert Redford been in a ton of movies. ‚The Way We Were“, Jeremiah Johnson among many others. He founded the ‘Sundance Film Festival” as well. Cheers
8:05 In case you didn't realize, that's Georges St-Pierre that Cap is fighting. He's a very famous former UFC fighter.
52:21 in the comics Sharon is SHIELD Agent 13 and Captain America’s long time girlfriend. Most SHIELD agents were a dark blue almost Black combat suit. Sharon is such a bad a$$ she wears an all white one…and hardly ever gets it dirty.
There is multipart issue saga in the comics in which the two of them go on a nationwide hunt for the Winter Soldier. That series was the basis for this movie.
MCU will never make another movie as good as Captain America - The Winter Soldier. Let's hope Brave New World can at least keep up.
You guys react to *Alita: Battle Angel (2019)* please!!!
Gosh I hate the fact that they're making women as strong as a Man One on One. It Makes No Sens And it Never will.
ive watched this movie so many times and yet somehow i just realized that gary sinise was the voice of the smithsonian!! that is crazy. 11:40
Best film in the MCU. Infinity War is a close second.
Jah Bless you both. This movie is absolutely amazing. This is one that I can't wait for them to re release on the big screen. You feel like you're there and that's great film making. Pray all is well y'all be good and be safe. 💯💪
Thank you! Same to you!
This is the movie where everyone we like, "damn, Captain America is badass."
Ok cause I thought the same thing and he moved way up on my list!!!
But a love more Bucky he are such a badass ❤ this Winter Soldier are demolished 😊
Cap III best one of them all!! Buckle up.
Lol ol girl Sharon
This movie is awesome
Una de las mejores del Ucm
Thats Robert Redford!!
And Cap is definitely Top 3! Just wait!!!
I’m here for it!!
cap does age but slower
08:20 what she said😂
38:33
YES HE AGES!!!
Thank you!
Early squad where you at?!
47:08 That's his best friend.. who is programmed to do whatever they say, when he is in that mode, he can't stop himself. Its not that he is cold.. its just the programming, he can't stop. Cap realizing his strength (Bucky's) gave him perfect blows, not to kill him, but rather to knock him out.
And also first time watching you both, I think the content is pretty good. Consider myself a new subscriber to yours (soon)..
Thank you!! Hope you become a sub sooner than later!
@@disneydatenite yeah most probably.. I'll watch a few more of your reaction and then you would have gained it. Watch in release order please .. I was a little disappointed that you already watched Captain Marvel. Too many spoilers and what not 😭😭
The head Hydra bad guy here is Robert Redford. He was one of Hollyoods biggest male lead actors in the 1960's-early 80's. He starred in Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid (1969) . He owns & runs Sundance studios. He also was in Three Days of the condor (1975) He was also a director/producer. Jeremiah Johnson (1972). He was always the handsome leading good guy in his movies. In the Capt.A comics from like 1968- mid 70's. They every once in awhile a bystander say HEY! Is that Robert Redford !!?? When Steve Rogers would be walking or running by. Referecing who he looked like. But Redford was like only 5-10" /5-11" And Capt. A was always supposed to be 6-2" and 20lbs. A much bigger built guy compared to actor Chris Evans is 6 ft 200 lbs. When he was in Capt.A shape. Capt.A's weight bulk built is much closer to Arnold at his peak. But not as bulky.
Batroc is a master at french savate in the comics, dont know what they got him doing here
ngl, your edits are absolutely terrible...... instead of including half of every sentence, you can just cut out the unimportant ones....
Everyone's favorite due too the gunplay (No Superheroism),
Every gets shot,
SUVs,
Public Transportation,
Black Widow,
Nick Fury,
Captain America,
Even though they said they were fake,
Everyone wanted them too be real police getting shot by a black man...
Hispanic maids,
And the only bad guy in all of Marvel taken out by shots too the chest...
Also non Marvel fans didn't notice the music being played at Captain America's apt was the same being played at the end of ENDGAME...
Nuff Said
