Slightly delayed, but as promised, here's a solo playthrough from my band Ancestral Curse's debut record! This is the first solo I wrote for the band shortly after joining back in 2020, and I’m still proud of how it turned out. Definitely channeling a lot of neoclassical vibes here, and you can probably tell I was quite into Brandon Ellis’ lead playing at the time of writing this, haha.
On a funny note, I realized in the process of making this video that I had accidentally been playing that arpeggio run slightly differently from the album version for years. Fret not, this is the correct way to do it, and good news for me too since I’d been playing it in a more difficult way all this time!

Thanks man! I'm using Ignite Amps Emissary + NadIR for pretty much everything I post on here. TSE808 tube screamer plugin at the front of the signal chain before the amp/cab sims.
