After some tests, the "Update Settings" reinitializes every 300 seconds. If the game was not able to complete the 'update' in this time frame it will restart. With the 'settings' file size increasing every new update, I'm sure this will be a more common problem than it is now. edit: In ver 4.2, 3 Mbps isn't enough when 'Updating settings' :( More details: The "Failed download numerical file" dialog appears after 1 hour in "Update Settings". It's more of a timeout thing. For "Update Settings" it's a function (idk might be some endpoint) that updates the game's internal settings. Now the reset happens because the function is called every 300 seconds, regardless of the progress. This "settings" file gets save on the memory so when the function is recalled it gets overwritten/cleared. Not sure why they put the 300 seconds though.
So i need to wait in like 2 - 5 hours well i dont want to delete that game because i sacrifice my self to download the reaources until its full taking 9 - 10 hours
@@InformantThinker For me this could take hours if not days, last week it took 3 days. I usually leave it overnight/midnight updating settings when no one else is using the internet in our home.
@@LagrangeVI WHAAAAAATTTTT this is a big problem some others they are using vpn or mobile data hotspot and changing the time and date uhmm something i messed up when you connected in mobile data update settings will finish or not it once happen but connecting a vpn and changing time and date are likely connected
connecting on mobile data hotspot are have 78% chance to finish the update vpn 60% chance to finish the update and changing time and date 49% chance to finish the update and waiting to finish the update have 5% chance rate
Yes, this vers is suck for download update file. I almost failed and redownload. For me atleast need 1 hour more for download update and more 500mb for download that actually 120mb. Suck

How did you get rid of the updating loop? I've been experiencing it for a while now and I can't get rid of it
It feels like on the server side, but it might be isp problem. It just went straight to login by midnight
