Good to see you back Sonny. As always, another well done video. You've brought back a lot of memories for me. I used to travel the world for work and I've eaten pretty much everything. The colorfulness of this village is very similar to some of the remote villages of Mexico and central America, believe or not. People are so warm and friendly. Thanks for all the nice videos and I always look forward to seeing them. BTW, you got the Asian Squat down like a pro!

Alaya thao my family spent like $12k one summer going to Vietnam and to their home town in Da lat and then we traveled to saigon to visit relatives too and it was insane how much money we spent
I dont know. Vietnam is not the most expensive place to spend your holiday.
My aunts went abroad also, it took them like 20 years to save enough money to get back home, even it's only a visit.
So try your best Thao, hope you could stand on our home's soil once.

Well, if you ever do manage to put a little nest egg away Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos are excellent choices for extreme budget traveling. Your biggest expense will be airfare even if you stay for weeks. I know plenty of people that went and ended up staying simply because the cost of living was so low (including myself). We're doing it wrong in America. Crazy expensive prices for overly processed food, meanwhile in Vietnam you have food like this for a buck.
Northern Vietnam is undiscovered jewel. That was a great tour of that truly colorful market. This is the first tour I've ever seen of the northern region. Do more. Thank you.

The Vietnamese people are very resilient. After all the centuries of strife in their country, they can still smile and show courtesy to foreigners.
I absolutely adore that you bring these people and their food and colours and vibrancy to us westerners that are never going to have the opportunity to see and appreciate this. I love Vietnam.. I was there years ago. I don't know why but I really loved Vietnam..you know when you get that warm fuzzy feeling being in a certain place. That's how I felt. I don't really understand why I felt that way coz I didn't feel the same way for Bangkok Thailand which I went to in that same trip.

Actually that's how you empty the ash in the bowl. You draw all the smoke into the cone, blow a bit of air back into the boong to push the ash out (usually there will be a little water come out too just like in this video), then you take a big deep draw of smoke into your lung, done. That's how you smoke Thuoc Lao.

The chance is that it is not procressed honey, it maybe forest honey if I'm not wrong, which means that it is totally natural, people found the net somewhere in the forest and just took it.
