Bro killer video! Are you rocking a hero 8 or 7 or using a gimble. I got a hero 8 and it so shaky in the woods it's almost unusable. I have not used the low light setting yet see if that helps. But I cant wait to try this trail
Ever since the Hero7 Black came out, I've all but ditched the gimbal. Though the gimbal does really well in low light (since its motorized and doesn't rely on a digital video input) it absolutely sucks around hairpin corners. Just cant keep up. I cobbled together some stray GoPro mounts to make a chin mount on my full face helmet. This way your head acts as sort of a stabilizer and the camera only has to smooth things out. I also kept the ISO between 200-1600 for these vids.
@@elikultgen4853 sick trail I'm going to try it this weekend any advice ? Should I ride it solo any big features I should know of ? Oh and I started playing with the protunes settings and got a good as I can get is 4k30 wide angled hypersmooth on high 1/240 shutter speed 120 has to much motion blurring. iso100 max 1600-3200 depends on how dark it is and its seem to be the best you can get for 4k 2.7k is alot more stable but I shoot in 4k as why els get a hero 5-8
@@dman5703 Be ready for DEEP loam! My advice would be, "don't be afraid of the fall line." I saw a lot of seasoned riders eat it because they were trying to pick a smart line. Usually that's a great idea, but this is DOWNHILL! Its so steep and loose that they'd lose the bike under them. Just smash this trail like a rock garden- lean back and look ahead! The settings I shot this video in: 4k, 24FPS, Superview, Auto Stabilization, Auto Shutter, -1.0 EV Comp, 5000k White Balance, 200 Iso Min, 6400 Iso Max, Medium Sharpness, and lazy ol' GoPro Color because I didn't want to color grade in post. Have fun! Post your video too!
😂😂😂 I love how you left the edits where you and your buddy fell. Nice job, dude!
I think I'm headed there this Thursday! The trail looks so good!
Maaan that root section is WEIRD. Just pick the fall line and hit it with some speed! Have fun and good luck!!!
I love this place
Every time I'm there I feel so lucky to have something this good so close!
