- VALORANT is a complex game with lots of characters and lots of maps. I show you exactly what the best controller for each map is in VALORANT.

Not all maps are viable with double-controller, the best by far it's Bind where Viper+Brimstone completely dominates other controllers, but fracture and split are pretty good to play double-controller. Some people tend to forget that Viper it's insanely good on that map, and in champions 2021 Astra+Viper were the dominant choices (of course due to Astra being broken at the time, but right now I'd even go Viper+Astra/Omen)
On Haven and Ascent you don't really need 2 controllers since in each site there's only 2 main spots where they come from, Icebox it's an insane map for Viper due to it squarely-long angles and no main chokepoint on none of the sites (think about it, where would you put an Omen or Astra smoke while defending A? No matter where, they can still see above it, that's also the reason why Icebox it's a non-duelist preferred map, because there's no actual chokepoint)
And finally Breeze, circular smokes are worse than doing nothing, they give defenders even more angles to peek from because of the volumetric design, so Viper alone it's the only viable choice almost, maybe some spicy picks like PRX's Astra comp, but not the best option

Astra is better then omen on haven Imo. Sure, most people won’t know how to use her, and that’s fine, play whatever you prefer but astra main strength her global utility is super strong on haven. You can smoke A from C, you could be flanking, you could be literally anywhere on the map.
@@redrazor7903 Idk. I think Omen's util works better on Haven. Flashing both longs and garage works really well + his tp can get you to heaven and some interesting off angles on all sites + garage
On pearl astra is nuts

I pretty much always play viper, except for maybe haven and fracture

If you think brim seems viable on pearl then ur high, the map is relatively big and you need someone who can reach both sites and mid. If you look towards the a site then you want to run astra/omen, if you look towards the b site you want to run viper because of her long sight line coverage. Never in a million years did I think brimstone would be viable seeing he can’t even smoke top mid without leaving site

For controllers I usually use Xbox, cause it's easy to connect to PC, but a PS4 or 5 works too if I don't have an Xbox controller.

@@Crandon-de1st it's not about "how to play him" his abilities are just not that good and nothing much can be done with them. I don't even know why they released him .

Ascent: Astra or Omen
Haven: Astra or Omen(omen better)
Bind: Viper and/or Brim(both better)
Icebox: Viper
Breeze:Viper
Split:Omen or Astra or Viper(Omen and Viper better)
Pearl: Viper or Astra
Fracture: Brim
Harbor:dogshit

Does controller in valorant have aim assist if so that seems insane. I might try to setup my PS4 controller.
update: On pearl Astra seems to be a good pick, play her. Same with omen on fracture if youre going for a ct sided comp as the oneway on a main is insanely strong and should be abused. Brim is still better on attack tho. Brim has also been seeing play on icebox recently, where two controllers seem to work in some compa and give you versatility to work with.

Absolute no mentioning of Harbor. New agent yes, but he absolutely beats viper on icebox. Probably Haven and Breeze too

I personally really prefer a PS5 controller, but I don't know, the versatility of Joycons is huge and I'm not sure if the ability tradeoff is good or not.

Astra is good on all maps, you just don’t know how to play ger
Any character can be good on any map, but some maps favor other characters. For example, Astra isn't amazing on Breeze, but she rocks on Ascent.
