Georgian folk culture, folk music, Georgian songs, music, melodies are very diverse (like folklore, music, culture, of other European peoples, peoples of the world). Proceeding from the foregoing, polyphonic singing, serenades, lullaby, choral/church songs and etc.- there are a phenomenons of European, which is the basis of Georgian folklore, Georgian singing, music, wich means that Georgian serenades, as well as Georgian polyphonic songs, lullabies, Georgian diverse folklore in general, with their diverse sounds, rhythms, genre, flow, Georgian choral/church songs, including real Georgian folk dances, not the so-called Common Caucasus, are European. Every region of Georgia has its own specific folk culture, music, there are even representatives of the regions, who with a common Georgian language also have their own language, like Mingrelians , Svans and Laz people, but all of them,all these ethnic subgroups: Imeretians, Gurians, Mingrelians, Svans, Laz people (About Laz people, here we mean mainly those Laz people who are mostly living in Georgia and who have preserved their common Georgian ethno-cultural consciousness and belonging to Georgians and who saved their faith- Christianity. Also, Lazes, among the Georgian ethnic subgroups, are closest to Mingrelians.), Kartlians, Kakhetians and other subgroups, are Georgians, represent one Georgian people, nation, culture.
