The thing I've noticed about Link is that his movements are always so quick, jerky and imprecise. This also applies to his chewing and probably part of why he chews so loud. He just needs to slow down a bit.
That moment at around 4:05 never fails to make my sphincter tighter. I know it's a bit that Link isn't allowed to use a knife but that moment made me think Link would be dead if it wasn't for his friends and family protecting him.
