What an absolute FAIL for 3D ConneXion to have not provided the (free floating) detachable number keypad a seamless magnetic recharging "docking" option, directly to the side (either side) of the full-time tethered/wired keyboard counterpart. ...Now you have to maintain & find yet another desk or drawer cluttering USB-C cable, just to "refuel" a num-pad intermittently. ~ With an adjacent keyboard already ironically (& redundantly) wired full-time.
I find it extremely difficult to type with a flat keyboard having used a tiered keyboard for more decades than I care to remember, I love the click of Cherry Red switches and would find a silent keyboard totally alien. Merry Christmas!
@@DIYEngineering yeah I think it was actually the pro mouse, but something about a single device acting as a keyboard and a mouse and Apple made it so they can’t do their own kernel extension or something, and that particular devices dongle can’t have its firmware upgraded to fix it

There were a couple oversights and better options for sure.

I got frustrated with them because the space mouse I bought doesn’t work w USB dongle on the newer OS Xs and they say they can’t fix it last I checked
that’s a bummer, they are great products. I’m strictly pc for ecad mcad, good to know for Mac users! Have you tried alternate hubs?

Rubber dome? Other? Key feel pretty good?
It feels pretty good, could be rubber dome , feels like 1.5mm latch with 2.25 travel. Tactile feel gives good soft feedback
