Mari,the weather is nothing,to others its such a hardship,to me its nature and feel alive,grew up on Kodiak Island Alaska in 60s on,weather didnt change your plans other than flying plane,inside tent with family or friends it was so peaceful,rain and wind are better than cars and there horns.Much respect as you have all the qualities of a woman that loves adventure and as soft as your figure your not soft mentally.Enjoy your travels and Happy New Year.

Hi mari,
The auto camping site in DaeGu is close to busan. The new tent is a little small,but since you're planning a spring backpacking trip . Then it's ok, but the backpack total weight of 20kg(44lbs)seems a bit heavy unless you're doing an extended trip. A comfortable backpack weight is around 20 to 30lbs to not strain the shoulders and back.
What size backpack? 50 to 65 liter.
It's best to test out new gear(tents) before ensuring there are no problems or issues like leaks or not working and familiarize yourself with how the set-up goes. That rain and especially the wind puts a damper on camping.
Were you able to sleep at night with the wind battering your tent like crazy?
The warm soup is great on cold and windy days . The cut steak and mushrooms, green onions look delicious. Oh, I can't forget about the dumplings 🥟 and soju to wash it down. The rice muffin looks yummy .
Mari, are you being a little gluttonous and feeling regret later?
It's a trying time with weather not being cooperative.
