Thanks for the tips! Have you come across a way to remove access skin without a surgery? Some website suggested liquid nitrogen to remove it. Just wondering if that is fine to do it?

I have external hemorrhoids. The VA has told me they do not meet the definition for hemorrhoids (as a disability) because they are not large?
I had the 3 band ligation procedure a few years back. This was due to internal hemorrhoids. The GI doctor said they were medium in size.
I still have annual fissures which the VA says are external hemorrhoids.
They occasionally bleed and hurt.
What is a medical definition for large.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I developed a fissure 6 months ago put on lidocaine and nifedipine finally felt better they say to make sure your bum is clean which is impossible I use wet tp wipe sides of cheeks and get in tub. I had my period and the Wet TP wipes my bum and just from doing that once it’s like I’m starting all over again and pain is worse I have a swollen painful sentinel tag now that doesn’t calm down I’m so confused one wipe using a wet wipe and all of this happens and I’ve been so careful i basically can’t ever gently clean my bum again I guess I’m female so it’s very hard I’m so confused help please why would this happen 🙏🙏🙏

I spread my cheeks when already sitting on the seat and might have caused a fissure. Saw a very small speck of bright red blood once. It's been 4 weeks. Been sitting for hours to study software code. I'm 40 and otherwise healthy.
What if the surgeries (Lateral sphincterotomy or Advancement anal flaps) does not help either. What is the next step? 😞
Why have you not mentioned treating with Diltiazem ointment (CCB) ?
What about GTN ointment?

If spasm is no longer there but there is lot of bleeding from posterior fissure while passing the stool. What could be reason and treatment to do. Please let me know
ranjit Budhkar the spasm is not constant so blood flow can still occur
