Thank you for this. I enjoyed it so thoroughly, all the food shots were amazing to watch. I love how there’s practically no dialogue, just you guys and your experiences. I’m going to Seoul in October for the first time in my life, in fact it’ll be my first time in Asia. Korea is my dream, and I’m going to do a lot of the stuff you did during your trip because it looked amazing. 😄✌🏻
Thanks for this. I am headed back to Korea for the 1st time in over 60 years. Initially I traveled there with my Mom to see the grandparents. Now I am going with my wife, two adult children and my daughter’s fiancé. Loved your approach of this video. ✌️🇰🇷
I love the ambiance of the place in Korea and make me more convince of myself that I would visit this country❤. Thanks for exploring us in your video 💚
Really enjoyed your approach to this video. I was just in seoul and there was almost no crossover between our agendas. Eager to get back - such a chill boss city.
So many varieties of street food looks mighty tasty. Tteokbokki and hotteok all the way here, but wouldn’t mind trying everything. Goals to visit Korea again someday.
FANTASTIC video - i'm going for 2-3 weeks next year during Frieze art fair. this was extremely helpful. (Altho I had to shut my eyes for the live octopus).
Hi there @8:12 that is not beef tongue, it is blood sausage called Soondae. There are glass noodles inside and pigs blood. It is delicious dipped spicy salt or tteokbokki sauce. Y’all really crammed a lot in 😅!
This is such a well-made video, loved the whole approach and how you showed the raw side of the city and your experiences. Thanks for sharing that. Can you share how much did you spend on food approximately?
Interesting travel vlog! Next time to avoid the mistake at 18:06, make sure to ask for the price of the food before ordering. Korean BBQ is usually quite pricey.
Thank you for your visiting Korea ^^♡ I recommend seoul tower, naksan park, bukak palgakgeong house by taxi near the kwang hwamun square. *^^* good luck for you two~!
food looks good. I find Korean food more appealing and enjoyable than Japanese food. Perhaps because I cannot eat raw seafood aka sushi. Those live octopus looks intimidating as they may cling to your throat? How was the food at the homie place?
Wow I can not believe that bbq place didnt accept card!!! maybe some misunderstanding or something? I have never seen any store other than street food that doesnt accept card !!!!
@@iPaulLee still....I have never seen anything other than street vendors where no card accepted !! Maybe you picked one out of million places or something..Strange!!!
The food looks delicious, but I can't stop thinking about the saturated fat, calories, and sugar and gaining like 10 pounds on that trip. And they hear Salsa and Reguetón???
They charged me the same price that was listed on the Korean menu, so I don’t think they scammed me. The restaurant was inside a woman’s small home, so maybe she didn’t have equipment for credit card
If you're asking if you can wear your Patek there, my answer is yes. I visited Seoul in late August with the family and saw plenty of Rolex and Cartier on the street. If you ask if they could be counterfeit that I'm not sure, but no worries about being robbed. Just stick to the well lit areas and where there are plenty of people.
@@dkim3202 I went to Korea too recently saw a lot of expensive watches. I thought it was because they make it a big deal to buy that one big watch to pass down to their sons. Locals even told me some people would buy them to flex and go broke.
Holy shit dude I watched this with my gf and you have maybe 4 years left for your hairline. Speaking as an asian dude myself idk what you do to your hair and your scalp but that perm is doing irreversible damage. @@iPaulLee Hair loss happens in waves and tbh if it happens it happens. I get the vibe you come from money or have a comfortable job, so just get a hair transplant, it's not a big deal. Sorry for being insensitive I was just shocked in this video bc it's not this bad on others😭
myongdong, this place is famous for being famous LMAO. koreans never think of going there except for being luxury or treating their foreign fellows to be ripped off.
@@iPaulLee Items sold in Myeongdong don't mean much to Koreans. It's like going on an expensive trip and spending all the time looking at a convenience store with lots of items. So I think it exists for travel agencies and Korean friends who are guiding their foreign fellows because it can give so much options that make them avoid the responsibility of not giving a good choice. However, but it means different whether by who are the consuming. Unlike other streets that have developed according to seoul people's lives, Myeongdong is optimized to deal with people like you who visit Korea. if you walk along Myeongdong Street, you will see a lot of products hanged out. So if you visit there, you can get souvenirs that you want in a short time to tourists visiting Korea. This is attractive from the standpoint of a foreigner who is absolutely short of time. Well, I think korea, especially Seoul have thousands of places to visit, and all there are safe and reasonable to the tourists. Visiting Myeongdong is not your only option when you want to have a good experience and shop in Korea. If you can travel with enough time, there are many commercial districts such as Namdaemun Market, Hongdae, Konkuk University street, Itaewon, Insa-dong, and Seongsu-dong, except Myeong-dong, which has been Over-optimization to the foreign consumers over a long period of time. Even if it's not the marketplace I explained, I am not expert to guide you how to visit seoul, there are many emerging commercial districts in Seoul. I can't figure it all out, but gentrification takes place in a very short cycle and the gathering place of the younger generation changes from time to time. Myeong-dong is a very classical place compared to that. I tried to give as much realistic information as possible. I don't mean to mock Myeongdong. However, I think Myeong-dong, which became famous just because of the large number of foreign visitors, has little value compared to the money they earn from many tourists.
