- Hey everyone back again with more Scrap Mechanic! Today we are competing in a maze building challenge where we each have to build a maze to confuse our friends! In this video I'm going to build a simple maze that seems really easy to complete but actually is super difficult to figure out!

Kan: “pretty simple maze” pulls out connection tool: makes a maze of logic
16:41 and Im concerned that Kan has vastly overestimated the intelligence of his friends.
that maze/puzzle is simple/complex enough that im going to add it to my next DnD dungeon.
You talk like The Board from Control lmao
Aww that’s mean. I love it
I've never played DnD but that sounds evil.
man i love the idea! i think i going to do it too lol
an amazingly frustrating addition. its perfect
I once made a Minecraft maze that was near impossible; it was multi floored, made of black concrete(no lights or markers), it had holes in the floor which would make you fall into a pit or to the lower maze, and many paths led to a false exit with an “infinite” corridor loop. But I never have thought of using redstone logic..
Still, moonbo's maze was the closest to the backrooms
What if you guys did a challenge where, each person builds a section of an obstacle course, then you weld them together and everyone has to try and race through them. (they could be vehicle obstacle courses, or player courses
"its got some logic and stuff" 40 blue circles in one place
Don’t know if this has been done already, but what if you each built a custom set of wheels for each other?
Same idea with the trailers, where they have to be “doable” yet can be a little quirky, whacky, and unexpected
Like I said in Scrapmans Video, I'm not sure I like how it was scored. Sure, Scrapman beat the mazes first but you and Moonbo made, arguably, better mazes. It would be nice if design as well as performance was taken into account. Maybe the longer it takes your opponents to get through the maze the higher the score.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter
Then moonbo wins
The scoring isn’t a big deal. It’s the journey that counts!
Sorry I don't believe in that mumbo jumbo
you guys should do a series of these videos where every video you expand the maze.
I have an awesome idea coop mazes where if someone does something it tricks the other guys maze... and so on... Maybe you click a green button and it makes it harder for the other guy or your own maze? XD
This was A-mazing to watch.
He ran out of maze puns. I guess you could say he hit a dead end
what you could have done is set the logic differently on either 4 or 8 seperate versions in a square, each having a different combos to exit it and on one of them set with 2 combos with the 1st to got to entrance one so they have to start over again and the 2nd to exit the maze but again having a time limit to get out using that exit so they had to figure out the combos for each door and remember them if they ended up looping back to the start.
2 man team ,tank battle 👌🏾
I personally would have tried to Combined yours and scrapman's to attempt to make what would hopefully feel like going through a Non-Euclidian maze
That and make it a very ugly yellow with carpet flooring and florescent lights and note blocks to simulate maximum hum buzz all to add another layer of mental trip up
I feel like if kan did abunch of those light corridors mixed with twists in turns after exiting a single light corridor their would be more excitement when sm and mm was going through the maze
I mean the last maze aka the one with the 1 corridor, you coulda used that inner square a mini maze but some buttons to like activate the 2 sets of sensors so they woulda 1st had to enter a mini maze to activate the sensors but then the corridor was the sensors as usual but now powered on.
you know zeepkist
its DLC is planed to be released on my birthday
this gives me an idea for a non-eculidian maze so as you go through the maze sensors activate and pistons push things into place so it changes the maps layout
that just sounds like a moving maze, not non-euclidean.
ngl. watching you go through that first maze was infuriating.
Interesting Video, though I did get motion sickness from the first maze... for some reason
kAN's maze is just an IQ test
scrapman make dumb and dumber reference = me happy boi
those maise puns were really corny
If u really wanna piss em off... Make it pitch black with barely and lighting so it's barely visible and near the end u can't see jack... And make it long asf... Lol
i hate how easy it is to solve the first maze and he dosent make it
Moonbo's maze is the Backrooms.
It would have been great to have a maze that was like the first one, except with a _fake_ starting door that is also red, which you need to go through to get to the other half of the maze that gets to the green door.
As a kid I paid money (or a ticket, same thing) to do a maze _kind of_ like that, except instead the gimmick was that the entrance was literally the exit; or rather right next to it and the guy just stands blocking it when you first go in :( I didn't like that.
how about you build escape rooms then separately build vehicles that the others have to use during your escape room
Too many hints and a missed opportunity to say “look for a button” in the corridor
Kans is a maze o connections lol just looking at the connections is a maze
"Some logic"
*The only maze you made is the connections.*
God loves you guys!
Oh man, this is giving me motion sickness
Plot Twist: There was no green door
Was kANs a paze or a mazzle?
Looking at you trying to go through Moonbos maze... you have absolutely no sense of direction.
Like, you repeadetly say "I could have sworn I have gone everywhere", but actually you were always going back into the same corner as before instead of going to the other direction.
Like, when looking from inside the Maze towards where Scrapman and Moonbo where while you were both inside, you always somehow navigated back to the left side (when looking at Moonbo) and every time you went a little to the right, you got into a corridor towards or away from Moonbo and then went straight back to the left side again instead of going right.
So yeah, you never left an area that was like 1/3rd of the whole maze...
Nice
Why’d u spoil it for them at the start?
3 Times Left is Right To!
how do you turn this into 20 minutes lets find out
worth
Why don't you link their channels
It annoys me watching this, because I see people running the same way 10 times.
Rule of right
darin
Yo I’m thinking while your making these videos you’ll actually like let the viewers listen into the convo you have with your friends while building it and skip through some of the not so interesting parts of the talking and building.
You're terrible at completing mazes
0:00-20:41 best part
Friendly trolling is the best type of trolling.
3:43 I love that everytime a technical youtuber says "it's pretty simple", it looks like the complete opposite. (While it is actually pretty simple if you know what they did)
"The xor gate turns on the or gate that also turns on the and gate..."
Mumbo Jumbo: *it's actually surprisingly simple!*
_is standing in front of an enormous redstone creation_
it is simple doe
Simple is when someone who doesn't know anything about where the thing made is coming from yet can understand how it works
at least that is my correct use of it
I would've created a maze which used sensors to change parts of the maze where you couldn't see.
They'd see the sensors on the walls and hear the pistons though
Hat would be mean tho lmao
Like antichamber?
@@NSarg04 Just use rotating walls using the controller, since it's very quiet, and trigger the furthest one away. Then have the sensors above the player, since generally people don't notice things above them. Probably have it in a recessed area, and have a pattern between recessed 1, and regular roof to make it harder to notice the sensors.
Even if they discover it, it still makes it harder due to more potential paths overall.
Jesus hecking Christ Kan, you spent your entire run on the right side literally doing loops in the same area.
I vote Kan for the new Zoro in One Piece.
I think we need another escape room episode! This one was so awesome to watch, clicked the notification as soon as it came up and knew it’d be a banger
This is the best trolling I've seen on the Internet so far, Great job kan
yea, minecraft skyblock trollings were never funny 💀
can you please notice me kAN i am a big fan i love your videos
...well, i assume he reads his comments
I could barely see what was going on when Kan was building his maze. But luckily the end result looks good
ScrapMan: Normal level
kAN: Hard level
Moonbo: Megalovaina plays
Would love to see more puzzle challenges! Some sort of Lab Rats series 😋 Or it would be neat to see what you would implement for a full scale escape room
Kan pro tip the trick in doing a maze is stick to the right wall and keep going until u find the door
Ya I did that trick I got stuck at a left turn and you can't turn around because you only go right
@@grimmstudios4041 you follow one wall it doesnt matter which you start left or right eventually youll cover the entire maze wall until you get to the exit its just a strategy to keep you from getting turned around or lost. You get stuck at a turn you just folow the wall there's no situation that would get you stuck even in a complete dead end because you would end up going out the door you came in but following the wall on the other side..
That strategy will fail if the exit/goal is somewhere in the middle of the maze and in some sort of 'island' (where it is entirely disconnected from the outer walls). In that case, you will never reach the exit/goal by simply following a single wall. You will just go in a loop and end up back at the beginning without entering the 'island' part.
you didn't acknowledge that it's multiplayer monday 👁👁
Even Kans maze somehow turns out as a barebones function over form brick lol
Y’all should have combined them all together and see who could get out first
I watched ScrapMan's video on this earlier. Had to come here to see the kAN perspective now 👍
You make each other's vehicles but you do not know who you're going to have to build four in the car has to be usable but you can put in some sort of trick no glitches but thrusters may be allowed
Build puzzle buildings that you have to race to beat, similar to the hogwarts puzzle map scrapman was playing!
“Where have I not been” * went back to the start then went directly back where he went the first time avoiding the left side*
“it’s got some logic”
that means 50+ logic gates
SETUP: 2 puzzles (Not identical) & the "trick" is they have to communicate to activate something for the OTHER person to progress. (moving platform to make a jump, hidden door opened, grabbing / spawning something & bring it back, ect.)
THE CHALLENGE: Person A & B can't see what the other is doing.
EXAMPLE: Person A gets a queue (audio or light), while person B can now move to / reach a new location / use spawned thing, ect.
SOLUTION: Have them help each other 2-3 times each to escape.
Escape Room MM???
This is so good, nice job
Maze = "a network of paths and hedges designed as a puzzle through which one has to find a way."
*goes & build walls around a puzzle....*
Could said "we don't want to just be running around in circles, lets play ___'s maze." As a hint and joke to your maze
This episode was full of a-MAZE-ment
KAN walking through the first maze was actually triggering me
blue
Litterly no one:
Google maps: 6:32
Also Google maps: 6:37
My fall job is to littraly help people out of a corn maze when they get upset or too lost
You should build escape rooms
They try to troll each other with there maze
I think you should each build a dwarf-scale house, and each person votes on which they would rather live in. Catch is, you cannot vote for yourself.
This is why login reigns supreme
You should do a air boat race
That was a MAZE ing👍
12:27 i love that song
Hi kan, so I've been rewatching your single player survival series and really wanted to recreate your automatic farming system but there's some adjustments you've made off camera which I haven't been able to figure the logic out for and would really like to see a video explaining the full farm
Ooh... you could've added a series of lights that trigger in sequence, to show which direction they could've gone as the lights get triggered. Like a timer row, but a set of lights.
Gonk :]
Who can build the best hovering car using trusters to hover (mods are allowed)
what happend to railroads
Prob waiting for spline update
it bothers me that so many times he follows along one wall and then just gives up on it. like thats the best way to make it through a maze, hug the wall
9:13 very irritating you just ran to the same three rooms, didnt even check the other two ways in the beginning.
Build each other trick cardboard planes and have a dogfight
runs around the same area "i dont know where i havent been"
Umm a normal maze can be solved with the "left-(or right does not matter)Hand-Method". Simply said, hug one wall, the left or the right and always go with the wall, so just hug the left wall the whole time. Then it is just a matter of time till you find the way out.
suggestion: you build cars, every 5 minutes you rotate and continue building someone elses car. after 15 minutes you have 3 cars that each of you built a part of. you draw who gets which car to keep it unpredictable and race each other. you need to figure out what the other people built while building yourself as well as driving and whether you want to troll or rather try to make it a somewhat functional vehicle. have a nice day and thanks for the fun
It might actually be interesting to make a "logic maze" where like every intersection is like a physical manifestation of a logic gate or something
brother u have GOT to stop telling them the entire trick to the puzzle before letting them in. Just let the chaos happen man we all wait for it and it's given away before it even starts :/
Only if one of you guys created a literal labyrinth where the walls actually shift, completely changing the pathways of the maze. :D
During the first maze I can't believe people don't know the rule of thumb, of sticking to the left wall, or right if ur weird
