BoA is literally one of the few female soloists or even the only soloist that has male backup dancers but never once is overshadowed by them even though male dancers are usually seen to be more powerful due to their physique but damnnnnn she actually even outshines them all in her own way!!! to me she would always be one of the best and my most favourite dancers in kpop like omg her talent is just amazing and thats not even restricted to dancing!!

Can anyone name me a pop music or Hollywood actor who is Black African, native American (or indigenous-anywhere for that matter) or S/SE/E Asian? If they did, they would be able to have a solo career and also break down barriers in several other Asian countries. BoA's highest and original stat is her dance skills, then she also has the bonus of being able to sing, have stage presence, AND charisma and a fun personality. What a Queen. Namie is good but her dance skills pale in comparison. The only thing she has over BoA is a more versatile voice, and was there at the right time in the right place.
Many girl groups gained popularity this year and I'm glad Kpop is becoming known worldwide but none of them could surpass BoA! I feel bad that this generation doesn't recognize her that much already. And the particular performances with these, the notable dance breaks are located in other parts of the performance. And lastly, during Over the Top, that's Hyoyeon of SNSD in the silhouette, not BoA. Anyways, I hope people do become a fan of hers as a result of videos like these. Looking forward to her next comeback.

A vast majority of these clips are NOT dance breaks, they are the choreos of the songs. A dance break will break away from the song and specific choreo entirely. As it was said, if BoA is singing, it isn't a dance break. She's dancing the choreography to the song. So, no, they are not wrong there. If it is about the second point, I cannot dispute nor prove it as I do not have any evidence. But, then again, neither do you.

Well.. I guess it is either take someone to dance or use video screen panel. In this case, they asked a trainee to do it, who was Hyoyeon. I heared about this way back, actually. When BoA finished the stage, people were immediately curious how she did it so it was explained through 'Mnet behind' and stuff. I heared again when GG were about to debut that "the girl who did the dance from that stage" is going to debut. And Hyoyeon herself has mentioned it too afterwards

Had not watched BoA in a very long time, had forgotten how good she dances. Keep in mind she is a singer first, dancing is not her #1 profession. The backup dancers that is their MAIN JOB, and she appears just as good. For a female performer, she is a cut above in her dance ability.

FunSoSoToTo someone like Boa doesn't exist often and can't be produced. Even though they try to train new idols the same way I still can't see anyone who is this natural and captivating on stage.
BoA and S.E.S really set the standard for all of the soloists and groups that came after 2000, a lot of them didn't last, and today they just don't hold up in comparison
Her talent can't be produced in any way. Which is why i still go back to the older songs and artistes occassionally because those were the times where music was more special and unique :) I suggest you can go and search up some of the older kpop groups too, preferably pre-2012 at the least

she is a legend! she can sing with a stable voice while an energetic dancing, which is not easy to "some singers"!!
Had not watched BoA in a very long time, had forgotten how good she dances. Keep in mind she is a singer first, dancing is not her #1 profession. The backup dancers that is their MAIN JOB, and she appears just as good. For a female performer, she is a cut above in her dance ability.

FunSoSoToTo someone like Boa doesn't exist often and can't be produced. Even though they try to train new idols the same way I still can't see anyone who is this natural and captivating on stage.
BoA and S.E.S really set the standard for all of the soloists and groups that came after 2000, a lot of them didn't last, and today they just don't hold up in comparison
Her talent can't be produced in any way. Which is why i still go back to the older songs and artistes occassionally because those were the times where music was more special and unique :)
I suggest you can go and search up some of the older kpop groups too, preferably pre-2012 at the least
there have always been cutesy idols and whatever. BoA is just one of a kind. and there are other fantastic solo artists. as for why no one is telling you about them, I guess you just don't have the right friends, lol.
