I am always amazed at how good local Thai can speak and understand English. To be compare with Hong Kong, they are much willing to communicate. Nevertheless, It just a bonus, they have their own language that they are proud of.
Great vid again thanks. When i was in Phuket last week, we went to Ao Po Marina to look at some Yachts. Someone told us about Bang Pae Seafood in Ao Po, overlooks the beach. Thai prices too food was delicious.

I am glad you like Thai food. As an indication whether the food is good, just look out for the customers. If they are full of local people then it is a good indication.
Hey Chris, looks like you’re having a wonderful time in Phuket. I was lucky enough to stay for 10 days above Patong for my 50th birthday. It was a beautiful six bedroom house with an infinity pool. And one of our trips around the island, we hit the natural. What an amazing restaurant. Coming from decorating an art department for movies and TV shows, it was a very interesting fun job they did putting it together. Plus the food was just amazing! Not sure if you got a chance, but around the corner or down the street is a place where they process cashew nuts. Even got a chance to try the process myself. As I’m sure you know, cashews are poisonous until they go through this process. And it’s one nut per fruit that looks like a baby pear. It’s delicious fruit, but doesn’t last long enough to ship. I was lucky enough to eat one fresh right there. You too enjoy your stay in Phuket😊😋🤗
I just discovered your channel because I'm researching my trip to Thailand (next week!). All of the food you ate looks amazing, but have you ever had food poisoining? I love leafy greens and salads, but I was told to avoid those because they're not washed with filtered water, etc. Thanks for the tips!

As a person born in Laos (grew up in America as well) and grew up on Laos and American food. Thai food just hits all the check marks for me. In fact I did not have real authentic Thai boat noodles until about 6 years ago and Khao soi until about 3 years ago, I cannot believe how incredibly good those were. The sucky part is its about 12$ a dish where I'm at. I'm jealous of you guys that get it for 2 bux or less.

Hi. Watching your video makes me want to go there ☺️ Actually my husband and I are planning to go there for 45days to try living there this winter . I mean starting Nov 17ish. but not knowing there much, intimate us to make a decision. He has to work on US time and requires excellent internet connection, housing, food, covid, restrictions,and many other unknown factors. We don't know where to go in Phuket and I need to have grocery store close, laundry, and etc... Any advises would help us. Thanks.

Good places in Phuket. Chris on the road from Chalong to Rawai beach, there is tens of shops for BBQ and local thai food. Just "look look, kap kap" as local thais says. Kap
Hey Chris, it's not a "local" Thai place, and not so cheap, but you should definitely try Three Monkeys Restaurant at Hanuman World if you haven't done that. In fact, Hanuman World might be worth a video if you haven't done one already.

We did an elephant walk/wash and feed. It was far better than a ride!. The mamoots were amazing, even giving me his hat when I started to burn.
