Until it fries in a few days, I would just copy the SD card first on your pc before it fries and see if you can transfer the file as is to a new SD card and try it again, because it will fail 100%, Otherwise the performance is what you expect for a game stick, good for 8 and 16 bit and some arcade..... Barely
These stuff are great for people who can't afford a proper gaming console. Not too Sophisticated to setup, you know. But I think people should at least try and buy a better super console than this. Even if the low price is tempting.
I bought the X2 4k stick with 40,000 games and 2x playstation style controllers. The emulator for Dreamcast game is really bad with player 2 button mapping is mapped to the shoulder buttons. The Arcade emulator does not run many games . There is slow down and some games play in slow motion. Many games don't work at all. Most of the driving games have not been mapped to joypads so you can't steer in game. And some of the emulators require a keyboard for the older system like Atari so this means whole sets of games can't be used. And as a whole the emulsion is a complete mess with games not working for no reason . Also the stick gets very hot while playing and this causes slow down. The only good thing is the joypads work fine and are if fair quality. But what is the point in selling it with games if the emulators don't work and the games don't pay. The X2 4K stick is just a ROM dump with some out of date poor emulated systems, and the systems that do work are very hit or miss. Stick to DataFrog, KinHank, powkiddy, anbernic.
I've turned away from game boxes and sticks, I'm happy with my lenovo mini with batocera. VGA output with 640x680 resolution 😎 Vulkan supported shaders.
Yup they are jank. I've bought 3 completely different sticks, even high end ones.... And they all go down, they heat up and they damage, all jank in the end

Lol the games have numbers before the names and they use the mame romname for the arcade games. Very messy. When i bought my anbernic rg351p, the naming of the games that came with it were all kinds of messed up
I been had mines for two months and it still works perfectly
Well for $29 you can't expect too much. Good review and cool video Wicked!👍

Yeah it is a general problem now.
Dont buy the sticks, they all go down, if not the same day about a week later for sure, I found out the hard way
Thanks for the head ups 😊
yeah them suck and need someone mod
Just like the Android TV Boxes with games on a crappy SD card
@@danielsooba7847 That's not bad at all, as long as the software is pretty decent and the Arcade classics function well.

I always copy the sd carts anyway first. It's hit and miss
Still the best intro in all RUclips
While watching this vid, an ad popped up selling the exact same thing. Typical.
Looked dire, cheers for reviewing lol 😂
Good morning Wicked
Gooooood MORNING !! 🦾
I’m just curious but can a better controller be connected to the Gaming Stick?

How does this compare against running emulators on Raspberry Pi?
I have an arcade stick using USB. Is it possible to connect it to this stick?
All my PS1 games have sound and music. 🙂😊
How? Very very jealous of this
Your actually lucky. But do they actually work properly... I bet not.
@danielsooba7847 all of them do
Cheap same old sticks need more power
Wicked with the gamestick factory from aliexpress
Wicked is starting a new series of why this chinese junk is junk LOL
Even at at games flashback blasts were better quality

Batocera is the way to go now. 🦾
Oh the always popular chicken song!🐔
It's one of my favorites!
@marccaselle8108 👍
I bought one of these and it stopped working in the middle of the first game I tried.
What?😱

PlaySticktation
😂😂😂😂😂
Another janky dongle crammed with games that most likely won't run. And the short life of the game stick doesn't help. 😅
I got one of these pieces of crap... DO NOT BUY IT!
PS5 & Xbox Series X can't do 4k, but our $29 game stick CAN!!💪🤘
👍👍™️
