Welcome to day one of Week of NoteBlock! I'm super excited to share what I've been working on with everyone! Like last year, we're kicking off the lineup with some Splatoon! This is the theme to the final phase of Splatoon story mode's final boss, DJ Octavio, sung by the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie! Calamari Inkantation has only been around for a few years, but has already embedded itself in my mind as an iconic game tune that I often find myself humming! Imo Octavio's music wasn't that good either. (Kinda hate how Callie ruined everything imo, speedruns are harder with DJ Octavio ft. Callie than in Splat 1, music doesn't slap NEARLY as hard as in Splatoon 1 and 3, there's an arena instead of a level)

1:35 that was so seamless and smooth holy damn! You have some serious musical skills for stringing all of these themes together SO successfully. WOW
I do agree this guy/girl (I don't really know) is really good at what they do in finding the rythm but you can thank the synthesizer for the sounds that were put forth in front of you
1:35 He freaking foreshadowed the Octo Expansion Final Boss Theme.
Actually, that's a tune from "Ebb and Flow", another piece of artwork created by Off The Hook wich was composed before the Octo Expansion. The part where Pearl shoots her killer wail is the "Octo" version of that tune.
Oh and also, Ebb and Flow was the first mussic created by Pearl and Marina.
