Fire Horns vs. FWR or Bad Panel Capacitor

- In this video, I test 13 old horns on my Fire-Lite Miniscan 124 panel, that either puts out FWR power, or has a bad capacitor. Regardless, the results are interesting and there will be a part 2. I should have uploaded this a long time ago, but better late than never!

I actually like the sound of horns on fwr.
Why do some older Simplex horns make a weird tapping noise when they are on 90BPM March Time? I first saw this occurring on the classic 2007 video "Simplex Fire Alarm Testing".
You can fix that Spectronics horn by cleaning the oxidation off the contacts inside the horn
FWR Can reduce the life of these horns. It happened to my 7002t and vibratone. Luckily i dont run them on FWR.
My alarms still work tho
