- This week we're dust off our old high power decks. A handful of these decks were some of our first creations a few years ago before getting into the cEDH scene.
FYI, we're defining high power as "anything BUT super efficient two card combos," which pretty much means no Thoracle/Consultation or Witherbloom/Smog.

Not sure how I feel about the video not having the ending of the game, it is a bit strange considering the quality of the these videos. Not sure if you guys can get some sort of cable to keep the camera battery alive, but really hoping this is a one time thing.

Carth performs worse in a high power pod than it does in a cEDH pod… hard to figure out what power level it really is, but it is SWEET

even tho lee is no longer in the game, alan would still have gotten an extra turn because emrakul's effect had resolved, and it's not a delayed trigger or anything so it still happens
Every time I see a Carth deck I feel like it just isn't that good (In theory compared to "Real" CEDH decks), yet it always puts in work and ends up getting wins haha
Can I ask why Carth doesn't play Doubling Season in the deck? I understand it is an expensive enchantment that essentially does nothing at first, but the upside and raw power of it has got to be good enough, no?
Honestly Carth was a lot stronger when it came out, there wasn’t as much combat damage flying around in cedh but now it’s everywhere lol. It takes advantage of a game that goes long for sure
Really think having Vorinclex instead of Doubling season is the right move. Can be a blocker for our PWs, can be tutored with Natural Order, and effects our opponents. Don’t know if we need a 2nd of that effect

I've been a fan since the start. Great Quality and gameplay as always. It really bothers me that there was no ending. Why post a game with no ending? I thought you were better than that. Hoping this is a one off situation because I love the Content and the Banter back and forth but c'mon.

How come slivers just let those planewalkers stay alive? Could’ve taken both out. You were 24 life, with a not very threatening board state, ASIDE from the planewalkers. Made no sense to leave those blockers up.
Another mistake, not attacking right away the last time you casted BoneScythe. He would’ve died if he didn’t block, so it set you back a turn. Allowing all of those planeswalker shenanigans to go even further. Huge mistake.
You know you don’t have to reveal the seven cards from carth right? You just have to reveal a planeswalker and put it into your hand
Yeah I’ve always messed that up lol. Played the deck like 10 times and never actually read that part 😂
