I am always saying WE GOT THIS in real life and online. We all have our own struggles and I believe we can get through anything together. When I was diagnosed with cancer in September, I thought this was my own struggle but I realised my cancer has affected everyone around me. I am a daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a grand daughter & more. I know my journey has affected everyone around me and I know now more than ever that I have no choice but to get better. Whatever life throws at us, we are going to get through it together. Hi my loving Tiffanythinks Family. I AM SO SORRY for not updating. I am still here in the hospital. I got an infection called C Diff and so things have been so hectic. I have been in hospital for 12 days. I love you all SO much. Videos might not be as regular but you know me, you are all my Tiffanythinks family so I’ll find a way to update you (IG? FB?) . There is a new cancer drug. Just came out a month ago and all the patients who participated in the trial went from stage 4 to complete remission without chemo. I don't know how things work in the UK. Is there a possibility of ordering it from over there? It's still on trial phase by the way.
To boost your immune system try taking echinacea tea or drops. That will increase your immune cells and bring down the fever. Avoid sugar. Pecorino cheese grated with whatever you can eat and some echinacea tea with milk. These things are to increase your immune system and remove the fever and blisters. Avoid sugar for a month.
You will be fine 100%. When you took time to post I knew you weren't well because chemo affects WBC count. The diet above is just an emergency diet to help restore your WBC count for the time being.

I was in nursing for my whole career at UCLA in Southern California. I know how you’re feeling. Best thing about you is your ever sunny disposition. You can make such a huge difference in your hospital situation with your positive cheerful outlook! It’s not always easy to be so cheerful, but the majority of each day, it helps so much to look ahead with lots of positive thoughts and of course Prayers.

@@jillr759 this isn't a supplement, but a replacement of food. Therefore TPN would be more fitting. Although it contains dextrose, it's brought in an IV package therefore less likely to feed the infection in the gut.
Also wouldn't PPN cause issues when used in high quantities?

She's literally an angel. Her mom is so lucky to have such a good daughter. We all wish we could appreciate every moment in life like in the movies and she literally does that. If it was me, I would be crying and cursing and fighting to leave.
God is using her as a lesson to all of us. What an angel her mom is

I realize it’s scary and alarming Tiffany but the same thing happened to me when I was on chemo - your body can only take so much and you develop an infection … I wasn’t in this long but I was in isolation with no visitors - just telling you it isn’t so uncommon for your immune system gets so low. Love you Tiffany from Toronto 🇨🇦 and yeah we got this baby!!

@@stephenscott2944 Tiffany will do as she’s advised by the doctors re. Chemo … it gets a bad name but in my case it helped to save my life when I had a 7.5cm tumour.
So sweet....:) No one can know exactly what she is going through except someone who has.
Chemo can make cancer end days an agony. They literally convince end stage cancer patients to get more and more despite knowing it will kill them faster and make it more torturous. It is about money. To have stage four cancer and say that radiation and chemo can help after already going through it, is ludicrous

I developed every infection possible when on chemo! Pneumonia, meningitis, you name it, I got it. I was extremely ill. But 11 years later I am still here. And you will be too.
I can't believe they did your picc right there! I was taken to a special little operating room for mine. (I had 5 in all, due to infections). All very sterile. Must be different in 🇦🇺

I want to ✨ENCOURAGE✨you Tiffany. I sat by my 24 year old daughters bed for one month after they removed her entire colon. I can relate to Amma SO much! Hi Amma!! She then got a infection and yes they can be very difficult to get rid of. My daughter got TPN as well. At a certain point a specialist said lets send her home, with the rack and antibiotics. It made such a difference. Mentally it was a wonderful change. This was after she was able to eat. If they offer that possibility, I just want to say, it made such a good difference. I know every case is different. It’s years later and she is doing great!. So we will all continue to pray and trust God for His path for your life. Your mind and being comfortable and with people you love is the best. I believe it brings healing. I know I wrote too long but I want you to know you are making such a difference in lives all around the world. I mean that very sincerely ❤️. You teach me patience, love, thankfulness, appreciation, faith in God and so much more. So much love to you Tiffany. So much. ……….AMMA✨, please be encouraged and know we are praying for you as well. From one mom to another who has lived with this “heart of a mom” where days are long, and its difficult to see your daughter in pain and some days the answers come slow, You are making a difference in Tiffany’s health. ❤️🙏✨ So many prayers for you! When I was in hospital with sepsis there were so many IV drips and medication that my veins started giving out. But I finally made it through and you will too!! We got this!!
Tiff-updating is not important. Stop worrying about that. Just take care of yourself.

What an amazing hospital. The fact that your mum can stay with you, even sleep there! And the complimentary massage therapy.. that’s incredible! You are in the best place for now.. I know how hard it is. I spent 10 weeks lying in a hospital bed after a car accident, not allowed to move… it was rough… the end of the second week was the worst (cabin fever)…but after the second week I got into a routine lol.

You have got this, Tiffany! I’ve had patients with this same infection and although it’s horrible while you’re going through it, you WILL get through to the other side, I believe in you. I do not think I have EVER come across with a person who has such a positive and strong mindset. Being in hospital, after all that agony and still plugged into all those machines you can be so happy about pyjamas! That is exactly what life is about and it is beyond touching! Please please please take care of your nutrition, it might be the least of your problems but it's so vital for your recovery, specially because your gut is weak now, lots of probiotics, fermented foods and fiber, loads of veggies, as much plant based as possible!!! You've got this!!!!

So true. Thanks for reminding her. When I saw her eating Mcfries and chicken McNuggets in her last video and saying "mmmm", I was shocked. McNuggets are garbage at best. If I needed to induce vomiting I would force myself to eat them. Why would a sickly cancer patient feed herself garbage when her body's immunity is at its lowest.
High fiber can be so hard to digest, almost impossible when you are experiencing colon issues. I actually recommend high collagen foods like bone broth and soothing foods like aloe.
I swear, you could be covered in mud and we could still see your gorgeous smile and incredible light shine through! God bless you sweet girl! Seeing you be able to have tea and a biscuit and a walk -just made my day!! Continued prayers! 🙏❤️
I pray for so much strength for Amma, there is nothing like the love of a mother and I'm so happy she is there to take care of you, the way only a mom can. You always have such a sunny disposition, you are so endlessly inspiring, no doubt in my mind that we've got this.
Oh Tiffany I've been worried sick, hoping and praying every day (just like everyone else, I'm sure). I'm in awe of how resilient you are, you're such a fighter but you fight with positivity! Tiffany you define the word strength and compassion and also caring. I am in awe of your resilience. You are loved by this entire community and you built a community of people who LOVE you so much. C-DIFF is a serious infection. Nurses should be wearing all their PPE and washing everything! We take it very serious at the hospital I work. I'm really surprised they are allowing your mom in there. I'm praying for you!! And hope you get to feeling better soon. Be sure to speak up if nurses aren't wearing their PPE
And so frustrating that she probably got it from the hospital when getting chemo and checkup visits. How can we prevent it and keep from bringing it home or catching it in the first place?
I was wondering that too. My dad had it and we had to wear gowns, gloves and a mask when we visited. Hopefully her mom doesn’t get it.
@@debbie7771 we actually have signs we put on the door outside the rooms of patients that have C-diff. We also have a cart full of PPE that everyone must use before entering the room. I am more worried for Tiff. Never going to get rid of it if nurses keep passing it around.
@@travelgirl7967 doesn't seem like the hospital is taking C-diff infections as serious as the US hospitals do. I can't express enough that everyone entering that room should be wearing a gown, gloves, mask, and touching as little as possible. There should be a cart outside her room full of PPE that EVERYONE should be donning before entering the room.
I had C diff twice, immediately put in isolation and nurses wore ppe upon entry, it was hell, i'm in B.C. Canada
My husband had cancer he got that infection c diff was in the hospital for almost two months, didn't drink or eat for a long time was given tpn he couldn't have any ice chips, water, or popsicles, it's a good thing you can helps your mouth, am praying for you hang in there takes a while to get better from this infection have faith send you lots of hugs love
I can’t believe how positive and joyous you are to all those around you. I had relatively early stage cancer with surgery and chemo and i was a LOT grumpier than you, so bless you for being such a blessing to everyone you come into contact with. Getting better isnt about luck, but if it were, you deserve it all. A relative is going through S4 colon cancer atm too, so feel some affinity with your situation.

Sweet Tiffany, I was in the hospital in January with a kidney infection and blood infection, for 8 days, insisted on going home until they let me and was readmitted 2 days later for a bowel obstruction and had a tube from my nose to my stomach. Please, I know how you feel about wanting to go home but you don’t want to get sicker and be admitted again either. Tell Amma and Matt I said thank you for their love and care of my friend. We got this Tiffany!💙💙💙💙💙

Hello Tiffany. I started following you before Christmas. I am 71 a widow for almost 30 yrs and live in Tennessee. I pray you are better soon and can go home. I just received bad news from the coronary cat scan with contrast I had the other day. I am scared. I am so praying for a healing for the both of us. Bless you!
Hello sweet Tiffany. I’ve been following you for a good while now. I don’t usually leave comments but I think you are such a sweet angel. I truly pray that you will recover from this soon. You are such a trooper and God bless your sweet mother also. You have such great support and that is so important. I suffer from Lupus and almost died last year. God brought me through it and I’m thankful for every day. I know you feel the same. I live one day at a time and try my best to enjoy my wonderful family. C Diff is such a difficult infection and hard to get rid of. You’ve got this!!! The fever helps fight it. Keep imagining the infection disappearing. 💓💓💓
You have wonderful nurses taking care of you. Speaking as a nurse for 39 years this month, your attitude toward your illness and cooperation with therapies is your best asset on the road to feeling even better. I pray you improve and leave the hospital whole and fit.

When I was having chemo, there was a lovely lady, a volunteer, that would come around and ask if I wanted a foot massage. I never did. I was kind of shy that way. You’re in good hands. Having your mom and Matt along with your lovely family are a blessing. You are loved❤️ Sending healing vibes from Connecticut.

I first starting watching you when I was in hospital last October. I spent 2 lonely visitorless weeks in hospital....and some of your video reminded me of that time....the infernal sounds of the drip alarms...the picc line...tpn...all bring back awful memories from when I too thought I was going to die. It makes me sad to remember but the saddest part is that Im nearly recovered but you're far from it. Take care of yourself.

I am a Oncology Nurse Practitioner. Your arm will feel more comfortable if it is on a pillow. Popsicles are used extensively on my unit. Tastes like Heaven!
We got this Tiffany glad you’re improving a bit and hope you are out of hospital soon. I’m young with cancer too hospitals are not fun but I know the staff is working hard to get you better. I watch your videos and follow your journey every Sunday and I tell everyone about your channel!

Praying for you (all) Tiffany. So sorry you’re going through this. I survived colon cancer 14 years ago (I was 38 and was told I’d had it for at least 8-10 years by the time we found it). I just received another cancer Dx this last March. Incurable.
I’m so thankful for people like you who share your journey. No matter how much support we have, cancer is still a very isolating disease, and it helps to have others who have/are going through it. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Thanks for the update. I know the feeling of being stuck in hospital. I was recently back in hospital for inpatient chemo & immunotherapy and was in for quite a long time. I am so glad to be home with my family. You,Ama & Matt are in my prays. You will be home soon!! Sending lots of prays and love from a fellow patient. Take care. We got this!

Is that fluid in ur belly, do they have to drain it? Hope you can get out of the hospital soon & eat everything you want. Bless ur mum for staying with you & those pj’s Matt got were super cute. You will be able to go outside, drive again, have a cup of tea & do anything you want, you got this 💙
