I literally said It's not a true SunkissedAlba curly hair vid, without the finger coiling! How long do you think, you continue maintain this longer length? When would you actually cut it & how? Like will you gradually shorten it? Or just big chop into a cute pixie cut? I hope you & yours are doing well & staying safe! Thanks for the vid!
Hello lovely! Thank you for this video. I'm a 40-year-old curly woman whose hair is dull and lost her curls so this comes in handy. Greetings from Mexico.
It happened to me that when I wanted my hair to grow, I started to cut the ends at least once a month and grew faster that letting it grow without cutting it at all for a long period. As well I noticed that when I started having hair cuts in layers, it looked thinner than ever and when I stopped putting layer on my hair then I went back to how it looked. Keep that in mind because it might help you recover the length and volume you had before.
I’ve been doing layers for most of my life, and have been trimming it myself every few months and my hair was not significantly growing. So for the first time ever I want to see if it grows better without layers and without major cuts.
I used to want to grow my curly hair really long and I would get it cut once a year or less. It would only grow a little past my shoulders. My stylist said it was just genetics. Well I moved to South Korea where stylists don't know know much about curly hair and ruined my hair. It forced me to cut and style my own hair. In order to cut out the thinning they did.. I trimmed my hair every month after my period. Used it as a reminder. Idk why but my hair unexpectedly grew like crazy. For the first time I had curls down past my breasts touching my rib area.
@@Mrs.AlbaRamos i'm not talking about cutting it much. But if you trim it like 0.5 centimeters or less every month you will see a drastic difference within a couple of months. Then try to grow your layers and it will be your solution. I struggled more than 7 years trying to make my hair fuller and longer, and like about 9 months ago I implemented this method and my hair is twice fuller and is almost reaching my butt.
This happening with me too, the worst thing I ever did to my hair was getting this ‘ cut’ whit layers and bangs, I experience thinning and breakeage, after 5 years I’m finally getting some progress and my hair is almost even in one length. I’m very happy about it. All that ‘cut the frame your face ‘ talk was tough to make us spend money and have the same style. So, I’m glad I’m not part of this anymore..😆😃:)
Great video, love the simplicity of it with a beautiful outcome, I’ve always appreciated someone who truly understands the different phases and struggles with curly hair and demonstrates it!!! Thanks !!!

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON 5G / RF / EMF RADIATION AND CELLPHONE TRACKING BY THE GOVERNMENT (OR ANY HACKER)? WILL THEY USE EVERY SINGLE TOOL TO TRACK US DOWN DURING A FUTURE LOCKDOWN?
Love the vid Alba! I am so happy to see a new curly routine! I haven't cut my hair in over a year either but the ends are very tangly so I might get a small trim. I bought the bounce curl leave in conditioner and the gel but when I used just them together it left little white balls all over my curls. I even mixed the two in my hand since I try out the curly cocktail before putting in my hair and they don't mix well. Have you experienced this?
A relaxer?.. no hun. I use only exactly what I showed here. I would never relaxers on my hair. My hair is in its pure natural state which was the purpose of me cutting off all my heat/chemical damage years ago in order to recover my natural curly hair back and no longer damage it.
Maha A - it depends on the current state of your hair and your texture. But no heat at all is the healthier option. I didn’t use any heat at all for the first few years during and after recovering my hair from heat damage. Since excessive heat from straightening + chemical dyeing caused my damage I stood away from heat as a whole. Diffusing is something I do only when there’s a time crunch, or I’m shooting content. Since diffusing allows my hair to dry in 30 minutes vs 4 hours of air-drying it’s very convenient to do when filming videos like this that would otherwise take me a full day to finish if I were air drying, or if it’s winter and I’m going to an event, diffusing is beneficial so I don’t leave with wet hair and hope it dries before I get there. The good thing is, in today’s time we now have diffuser dryers made for curly hair with the option of low heat and cold air only like this dryer. This dryer has a setting for cold air and no heat at all.
@@Mrs.AlbaRamos I know this video has nothing to do with what I'm about to ask but you're my go to person. We're in an age of anti aging products , everywhere I look there's a new product . What do you think about these products ? Have you used any? Would you recommend any ?
Missed your curly hair routines and your videos in general! Alba what are your thoughts on aloe barbadensis leaf extract, isn’t it carcinogenic? Although ewg rate is between a 1-3, its labeled as a possible human carcinogen. Also, have you heard of and would you ever try the brand soultanicals?! Always enjoy watching your videos Alba!!
Thats just aloe Vera extract. Aloe Vera is awesome but like with everything, not everyone sources aloe Vera organically from the plant. So if it’s not organic aloe Vera juice or gel, there’s always a risk in it. - I’ve never heard of that brand. Sorry! Glad you enjoyed the video ♥️

Eman Sakura - I guess I should make a video directly with that title addressing only that topic, but just so you know I’ve made a “curly hair hacks” video that adresses this question in total, and the tips I shared there about avoiding frizz are steps I apply in every video. So if you pay attention to ANY of my curly routines from the past to now you’ll see the same repeated techniques in all which avoid the factors of why a person would get frizz. So a part of me feels making a video only on frizz will be repetitive to what I always say and promote in every curly routine. 1. No hot water, 2. No towel drying, 3. Rinse with cold water 4. Deep condition because frizz is not a hair type it’s a curl waiting to happen, 5. Co wash more than you shampoo 6. Don’t touch your hair after styling while it’s wet - these are all things I addressed and verbally said in this video and apply into my technique in all my curly videos. Lastly, sleeping on satin pillow case vs cotton pillow case I’ve also always promoted in several videos like my night routine. 😊 hope this helps and brings you clarification!
Hi Alba! Loving this video and can't wait to try the products shown. My biggest question is: Do you have a showerhead that's attached directly to the ceiling? My girlfriend and I are both curly girls and don't wash our hair everyday and love the idea of one, but is it difficult to maneuver on the days you don't want to get your hair wet?? Hope you have the chance to see this and give us advice, thank you :)
Hi 👋🏾 this shower head isn’t installed from the ceiling, it’s in the wall. But in our home from 3 years ago we had a rain shower head which was high in the ceiling and it’s not something that automatically wets your hair if you don’t want it too. You control your body in a way that it only hits your neck and back down not your hair. I’ve also been in hotels that have rain showers and again, it’s no different from avoiding shower head water attached to a wall

I got 3c hair there, too and I have the same problem. When I apply a crazy amount of product there, it's less frizzy. Sometimes there's product sitting on it when it dries, though, but I just use cream so I can get it out easily with no gel flaky problems.
