What an amazing voice with wide reach ideally suited for Dhrupad Sangeet! He is drawing more people like me(a Tamilian) towards Dhrupad with soulful music. Thank u immensely.

Tremendous control of breath revealing each note of a Raag in its highest form merging into OM. Excellent rendition, Uday Bhawalkarji. This is real meditation.

He has brought Dhrupad gayaki out of the dark ages. His voice remains pure without the nasalization of swaras. Uday.

This is just divine music. The way he approaches each note of the Raag & shows the ethereal beauty of the musical notes is amazing ! He is immersed in it & immerses us in bliss! Thank you for uploading his concert & enjoy the pure magic of his dhrupad singing . May God bless him with a long life & opportunities to us listeners to listen to his divine music.

I have gone through all the above comments including mine. Those are all apt but I would like to add that pakhwaj accompaniment cannot be ignored.

strange to hear Komal Nishad (7:36-37) and also using it as a supportive note in the meed from Re to lower Dha. Did not know that Komal nishad is also used in Gunkali.
