I really like the Dot Runner and use that the most. Because we live in a home with forced-air furnace and AC, the humidity level will impact my adhesive, I am generous with how much I use on my projects. It is very discouraging to go back even just one year and find that my pages are losing embellilshments!
Hi Ali I used to follow you a while ago for your scrapbooking ideas. I found scrapbooking required more time than I could give so I stopped. I just recently purchased a Traveler’s Notebook journal and have pulled out some of my leftover scrapbooking supplies when I found you again. I am looking forward to watching your videos and seeing your ideas.
I do LOVE the ATG tape gun-I fill it with scotch brand tape. I also love the craft foam from Walmart. You get like a huge stack of the foam for $5 and that’s my go to for dimension!
I love Sticky Specks for things like die cut script words or delicate leaves. You just put the paper against the glue sheet and pull it up...the microscopic double-sided glue dots stick to your paper and are ready to adhere to your project.
I'm not an ATG girl either. I love the runners. I also use the Green Tombow Monomulti Glue for glueing wood veneer, embellishments, chip board, rubber pieces...etc. Mostly the heavier embellies.
Great choice. I love the tape runner but I like Tombows dot runner It’s repositional at first and then becomes permanent and if you make a mistake it rubs off easily. I buy mostly at Michaels because you can use a coupon. But my local scrapbook store also carries and I like to support them so I buy there. The have the same price as Michaels. However don’t buy at Joanne’s. They charge so much more not sure why
Thanks Ali for this video. One thing that I heard someone mention recently is the concern over how much waste the tape runners produce with all the plastic/mechanism that you end up throwing away. Another option is to use score tape which is a little more work when applying but less waste.
Really helpful video--and perfect timing. I am trying to start pocket scrapbooking for the first time. (I am so lost!) Glad you figured out your tape runner confusion! :)
Oh cool! Have you checked out my Project LIfe videos? Lots of information about working inside pockets can be found there: ruclips.net/p/PLEpPlYs2iRzlS4Zr6v0uTu6yEsUF9yVTU
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc Awwwwww. That made my day BIG time! I have been watching your videos incessantly. You've become a household name... Pretty soon we will be setting a place for you at dinner!
Hi! Thanks so much; this was great. I'm new to art journaling and my main concern is using an adhesive that will last for paper on paper -nothing too heavy. You said you've been doing this 20 years? Do you feel the Scotch tape runners are long lasting?
Dear Ali- Have you moved to Lightroom yet? I so enjoy your streamline, no-nonsense processes- would love to see a video on your migration and organization process. P.S. Thank you for continually playing things loose in this hobby. I feel much more free in my own process. I really appreciate that about you.
Hi! I made the decision to just try Photos for awhile and it's honestly been working just fine for what I need in my own photo management. I wanted to try the simplest option first and so far it's been working great and I haven't missed having something more powerful.
The formulation is the same, but the case is not. Which I don’t like. You have to hold it more upright (perpendicular) to the table when you roll it to get good coverage.

I’d love a basics vid on stamps and stamp inks please

This is why you are the Mother of Scrapbooking💕
Good morning! Just moved to the PNW...Love getting videos earlier in the morning now 😆
I am team ATG! I also like Tombow liquid adhesive that has dual ends for different tips.

Yes! Can you link me to "score tape"? Is that just like red line tape?

I do! The dot rollers I've used over the years - Scotch, Kukoyo, and now the Scrapbook.com one have all been good.

Oh interesting! I've used it a couple times so far and didn't notice that specifically.
Lots of words, but no explanations or demonstrations. You pick things up, flip them around, then more words, but no demonstration or explanations.
