Just heard these things live, boy the video doesnt do justice at all! Theres so much low growl and rumble in that sound, the antilag, combined with the turbo&Bypass Valve and gearbox whine makes you feel like a fighter jet is just going by! These things sound incredibly good!

PGreg crazy to think that you can make 280hp from 1.6L, but WRC1 cars make 380hp from that same rebuilt 1.6L!

Why does it sounds like supercharged?
It's the gearbox which causes the distinctive whining noise.

Rallye cars often use anti-lag systems, so the sound of the turbo isn't interrupted by anything
The turbo is slowing it down ...could do without it and simple weight and momemtum management can compensate for the turbo.
Now I want to hear your explanation how the turbo could possibly slow it down.
