DJ, I find most people you talk to are nice, friendly and polite (80%). Lots of RUclipsrs make content about how bad the UK is. It’s good to see that everyday people are so kind.

I was watching a Charles Veitch videos the other day and He mentioned a DJ video so I looked it up on YT and found you both. I've been watching a lot of you and DJE Media's videos the last few days and its cool to see yous both together 👍
Fantastic to see you at a local place! They actually close the grounds every few months for an entire day for a culling of the deer, so the gentleman in the beginning wasn't actually accurate saying it's only closed on Christmas and New years, as the WHOLE grounds are closed off during the culling. :( they do this to keep the population of the deer down. There is a lot of problems with people getting to close to the deer and taking selfies, someone was attacked by a stag a few months ago. I have been locked in the grounds a few years ago by accident, pitch black and had to walk suuuuper slowly past a bunch of the deer and stags guarding the young ones, thankfully the final gate was unlocked! The stories I could tell about the Hall haha.......

Avoid taking off from under a tree or anything overhanging really 😱 If your RC decides to freeze and reboot itself (it happens) the drone will head home and will most certainly be back to homepoint trying to land before your RC reconnects to the drone again and it will hit the tree on the way down.

Careful of the scanner mate. There is no right to listen in on communications in the UK unless the communication is intended for you or it is on a band that is intended for the public such as broadcast radio or unlicensed public comms bands such as CB/PMR446 or licenced public access bands like amateur radio. As they were not using PMR446 (probably a business radio band being 452MHz as seen in the video) you run the risk of ofcom finding out. Other countries are a bit better in that you can hear what you hear but you must keep it private. Oh and before anyone asks, yes this all means it us technically illegal to listen to the airband. However, it is also illegal to rip a CD or keep a recording off the radio. Just it's so commonly done it's essentially simply unenforceable. So yes you cant listen to the planes officially but everyone knows unofficially it's been done for decades so...

I love Dan’s drone flying. He is brilliant with a drone.
