Masha Allah, what blessed knowledge is this. How much more amazing is this then any science fiction or fantasy movie because we know that this really happened. How fortunate are we to be able to receive this knowledge. May Allah (swt) reward Shaykh Yasir and MIC for recording these lectures and uploading them for the benefit of the Ummah.

    Episode 21 & Episode 22 & Episode 23 Notes (Started on EP21 Comments)
During the ascension through the Samawat, the Prophet SAW spoke to many individuals and learned information such as:
    • How, Musa and Ibrahim AS knew nothing about Qiyamah.
    • How, Isa AS knows about the major signs that will proceed Qiyamah. Thus, Isa AS was the one who told the Prophet SAW, about Dajjal and Yajuj and Majuj.
    • The Prophet SAW also, met Malik who is the gatekeeper of Jahannam. Malik came to the Prophet SAW and gave Salaam first. Malik was the only angel that didn’t smile when he greeted the Prophet SAW. This is because Malik has not smiled since the creation of Jahannam.
Then the Prophet SAW ascended with Jibril AS further before he reached the Sidrat Al Muntaha which, is at the end of all creation. The Sidrat Al Muntaha is a ginormous tree that is dynamic one. It has gold butter flies that fly around it, huge leaf’s on it and it contains colours around it that, are not existent in the dunya. The trunk of the Sidrat Al Muntaha, begins in the 6th Samawat and ends at the top of the 7th Samawat. Four rivers run at the base of the Sidrat Al Muntaha, two of which are in Jannah. These two are called Al Kawthar and Salsabil. The other two rivers are existent in the dunya and they are the River Nile and the Euphrates River.
The Prophet SAW then saw Jibril AS in his original form, at the Sidrat Al Muntaha, for the second and last time. Jibril AS had 600 wings and from the feathers of each wing, there were diamonds dripping from them.
Also, the Prophet SAW received then last two verses of Surah Al Baqarah at some point at the Sidrat Al Muntaha.
    The Divine Appointment:
Jibril AS stopped ascending when he reached the Sidrat Al Muntaha and from that point onwards, Allah SWT lifted the Prophet SAW past the Sidrat. The Prophet SAW heard the writing of a pen as he was ascended and it was then that, the Prophet SAW had a conversation with Allah SWT. It was here that the 50 Salaahs were prescribed. The Prophet SAW never saw Allah SWT, on Al Isra Wal Miraj and Aisha RA confirmed this in Sahih Bukhari.
After the conversation, the Prophet SAW descended back down when he encountered Musa AS and informed him of the 50 Salaahs. After which, Musa AS told the Prophet SAW to go back to Allah SWT and get it reduced until, the Salaah number came to 5. But, even then Musa AS said go back but, the Prophet SAW was embarrassed to have it reduced more and said that his Ummah would do 5 Salaahs. Immediately after this, Allah SWT spoke to Musa AS and Muhammad SAW stating that, 5 was the intended number of Salaahs.
    Jannah:
After the Salaah had been prescribed, the Prophet SAW looked into Jannah and he saw tents made out of pearls and the soil was made out of musk.

Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series:
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.
Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins during this blessed month and beyond! Ameen

He believes that those angels will carry the throne of Allah on the day of judgment and not currently carrying it. By the way it is 8 angels. Also there are other scholars who believe the angels are currently carrying the throne of Allah. He is just one of the scholars and this is his interpretation.

Bismillah. May Allah bless you Sheikh. Do you think the opinion on the back and fourth of the salah could be that it was 50 our prophet went to ask Allah to reduce then Allah reduced by 10. As one hadith says.. So it was 40. Then our prophet pbuh went back again and it was raised by 5 so (10+5). 40- 15 = 25 then wen he went back the 3rd tine it was reduced by 20 which wud make it 5 ? 25 -20 =5. So we could use both hadith to be correct ? This is why our prophet pbuh said i am too embarrassed to go back. As how much more could it be reduced from where to where. THIS IS JUS MY OPION. Would love to hear your thoughts on that. If not may Allah Continue to Bless You. Allhamdulillah

I didn't understand why Shaikh has to calculate 50 Rakat ! He said 50 is reduced to 5! This is contradictory to what he has tried. We pray fard 5 Times a day, not 5 Rakat per day.

He said fard 5 times that's equivalent to 2fajr+4zohar+4asr+3magrib+4isha=17rakat and then he added the other Sunnah prayers which comes to 50rakat.

Yes I agree. It was unnecessary on his part to stretch it and try to make it seem as if the Prophet ﷺ prayed 50 times a day, by calculating the number of rak’ahs... using his logic we pray 17 times a day (if you just calculate the fard). Many people pray sunnahs as well making it “29 times” a day 😝
A logical error from the Shaykh which we will overlook ... its natural to make mistakes

As-salam alaikum shaykh! The Hadith you're referencing in this lecture and from other authentic sources it is well-known that the initial commandment was for 50 times prayer/salat a day and then upon the repeated requests from the prophet(SAWS) it was finally made 5 times. Problem/confusion arises when in the same lecture you say "prophet (SAWS) used to comply with the initial commandment" and provide a breakdown of 50 Rakah! or more daily in support of the above statement. Much appreciated if you please clarify.

As Salam u Alaikum brother Yasir, I have question on the kaaba of heaven. Is it always above the kaaba of earth I.e. rotating around the earth to stay above the kaaba of earth?

It doesn’t make sense to say 50 prayers as 50 rakat because when it was reduced it was reduced to 5 prayers not 5 rakat.
So the example he made by counting all the rakat and trying to make it like the prophet peace be upon him was doing the original command each day doesn’t make sense . He shouldn’t try to add extra things to make points for no reason and connect dots that don’t add anything if they don’t add up. Besides that I love the lecture.
