      @@mikwrites oh my god. thank you so much for the link. the screenshot turned out blurry while printing. this would help a lot.

    This was a great overview! Helped me put outlining into perspective - and props for the effort that must have gone into making those infographics!

    Thank you for doing the comparison between the 3 different outlining methods and using the infographic I understand it so much better now 🙂 no more confusion!

    I've been watching endless videos on novel structure and came to the same conclusion!!
    Had me boggled no-one put 2 and 2 together before
    New sub for sure!!

      Yes! I think a lot of people may know this but for some reason I had to draw it out and overlap them for it to fully click for me haha

    Hi, thanks a lot for this overview! It really encouraged me to start plotting again. Thanks for emphazising that we don't have to follow these structures to a t, bc I always was caught in the middle and it felt not right with a method and then I just stopped it overall ^^

      I always feel so caught up by *choosing the right method* or *making sure it's perfect* so I totally understand - but we got this!! We just have to keep going

    Great video! Is there a pdf version of the template you made? I’d love to be able to print it. No worries if not

      There is a live link to the template here: shorturl.at/tPY0N ! You should be able to print that page of the website in a PDF format. Let me know if that doesn't work and I can get a PDF for you 🤗

    At 10:32 what did you mean by “time clocks can occur”? (Sorry lol)

    • @mikwrites
      @mikwrites Месяц назад +1

      No need to apologize! At the midpoint it’s common for a “time clock” to be set where the MC and crew now have to accomplish the main goal (or central conflict) of the story by a certain time - this is a way to add stakes by putting a ticking clock as pressure on your characters!
